gopher2
Anyone else getting emails from ADs that the required NFHS coursework (Heat illness, tackling, cardiac arrest, etc.) they did in May no longer qualifies or is it just me? The email in May said my current certifications would expire June 10, 2022, so I did them in May. Now I just got notified that I have to redo all of them because the IHSAA changed the requirements while many of us had already taken care of this? Leaving a bad taste in my mouth right now. Julio
Looks like you took them too early. Most people take them in July.
Impartial_Observer
What Julio said. I don’t believe the year rolls over until week 1. Contact the office and let them know, I had a similar issue a couple of years back.
footballfan2012
Our AD at Owen Valley has instructed us to do them again - and will have to do them again every year
from_the_sidelines007
Agreed! Probably just took them too early! I would say that sometimes expectations change and updates are made to procedure for the betterment of everyone. When it comes to our student-athletes I feel these courses are necessary, even if coaches are asked to take them each year. As always, the game is better from_the_sidelines007
