Angola- Marian has seemed depleted on the defensive side. Offense has yet to find any consistent rhythm. Losing Atkinson on offense is proving to be too much. Angola +14
Bremen- Bremen's defense should handle PH and allow their offense to keep the game close. The wildcat offense can only work for so long. Bremen +13
Calumet- Calumet by 50
Jimtown- Jimtown is starting to get things rolling and their defense is too sound for Washington to get anything done offensively. Jimtown by 28
Laville- I don't know how long Glenn's defense can keep their offense in the game. The offense needs to get things rolling back on the ground. They've seem to abandon the basics of their new scheme.  Laville by 24
New Prairie- The game of the week. Can Riley's box withstand the 9-man front of Radke's offense, I mean New Prairie. The wildcats are going to have play mistake free football to have a chance to stay in the game and allow their skill set to work their magic again.
Penn- will we see 4-star this week? or will St. Joe hold him out until sectionals where they have a slight chance to make a little noise again. St. Joe boxes themselves into a 48-0 game. Penn by 48
Elkhart- Adams hasn't done anything since they were rewarded with a catch in the double OT win against Riley. Elkhart puts in their JV team in early. Elkhart 42-6

Several non conference clashes this week.

Angola should be Marian as they continue to restock.

Bremen should win by 20 or so. I see it 34-14ish

Calumet

LaVille was slowed last week, maybe Barron can find a few wrinkles to keep it close, but Laville should win by 20+.

Jimtown will beat Washington, but will be closer than folks think.

NP over Rily 35-13ish

And the Elkhart Charging Blazers over Adams big.

edit I forgot Penn over St. Joe 54-0

Nothing to wild this week, but you never know.

Nothing really to talk about this week. A lot of games that are either going to be blowouts or really just don't matter.

Angola at Marian - Angola
Bremen at Prairie Heights - Bremen
Calumet at Clay - calumet
Jimtown at Washington - jimtown - Is Washington improving, or did they just benefit from a few a games vs some fellow SB competition?
Glenn at LaVille - Laville - Lancers at 6-0 are getting absolutely no love this season and are quietly building a solid 2A program.
New Prairie at Riley - NP - Channel 46 game of the week just to throw the cougars a bone. Should be a blowout.
Penn at St. Joseph -  Penn - not much to say here.
Adams at Elkhart - Elkhart - not much to say here.

Too bad the game of the week isn't Northwood @ Mishawaka. That is by far the best game of the week in the area.

Without a doubt it’s the game of the week, but definitely understand WHME trying to spread the love for teams that haven’t been featured yet.

Absolutely. But Mishawaka has already been featured twice and Northwood once. It's unfortunate for channel 46 that essentially 3 area conference championships are being decided in the next 2 weeks:

Week 7: NLC Northwood vs. Mishawaka

Week 8: NIC Penn vs New Prairie

HNAC: LaVille vs North judson

Freeby and crew are probably frustrated that Warsaw ended up being the "paper tigers" this season as some early season beat downs of some underachieving teams made everyone think Warsaw was a top 10 6A team. But so be it; it's nearly impossible to know what games will be the big ones for the areas 4 main conferences. Besides Channel 46 does a HELL of a job for an area high school broadcast; top notch operation.

That is fair, and I completely agree. I don't think many other areas has a channel that focuses completely on high school sports. What they do is impressive and they definitely need more credit for it.
