Also the 1998 game was a classic at Broad Ripple, won by the Irish with a late field goal 26-23. I believe that's the night that the West Virginia band played at halftime. Our home field was the old Cincy State College stadium as we didn't have a home field, just a pasture to hold practices. We weren't very good back then, though we usually got thrashed by the other GCL teams we seemed to always beat Colerain.
