  1. Any Patriot fans know if HH has participated in any 7 on 7 or 11 on 11 yet ?? If yes do we have a frontrunner for QB ?? Last years stats : Carter 633 yards, 64.9 complete percentage and 8 TDs and 3 INTs Jones 573 yards, 54.5 complete percentage and 9 TDs and 2 INTs
  2. The article in the J/D said he will coach both but ones in the fall and other in spring so no overlapping.
  3. J/D reported Fisher as new Girls Soccer coach is he doing both ??
  4. Congratulations to Heritage Hills baseball coach on his new job as assistant principal and AD at South Spencer. Always hate losing a Alumni but its great seeing former Patriots succeed in their careers. Greg played both Football and baseball at Hanover college and was quarterback on the Patriots 2001 and 2002 regional championship football teams. The Patriots only graduate 1 senior so the next HH baseball coach should be inheriting plenty of talent for his first season.
  5. Didn't the Newton kid that was at South spencer and transferred to HH play in the TYFL also ?? I talked to his dad at the North Posey JV game last year he still lives in South Gibson and said his older son played for the Titans.
  6. I hope we can field a team to give the kids reps. Last season the HH freshman went undefeated this season they might be lucky to win 1 or 2 games but at that level its not about wins and losses the lost important things are gaining experience and getting game time reps so the kids don't lose interest. We normally play a tough Frosh schedule with Mater Dei, Jasper, Southridge, Mount Carmel, Boonville, Gibson Southern and Tecumseh JV, Last season we added Princeton JV and played North to replace Boonville who didn't field a team. Playing a tough schedule like that against kids their age would be much more valuable then sitting on the JV bench.
  7. Underclassmen that were selected ALL-PAC or honorable mention PAC in the 2016 season Gibson Southern All PAC Isaac Sellers QB & MVP Ryan Sensmeier OL Kalob Stuessel DL Trace Matsel ILB Bailey Neufelder DB Dylan Stefanich RB Gibson Southern honorable mention PAC Zach Nurrenbern OL Wes Obermeier END Heritage Hills All PAC Cade Jones DB Spencer Buse DL Heritage Hills honorable mention PAC Carson Liebering K Southridge All PAC Tucker Schank RB Southridge honorable mention PAC Jace Harter QB Mitchel Carter DL North Posey honorable mention PAC Jesse Kissel ILB Alex Stewart RB South Spencer honorable mention PAC Jaylen Taylor End Pike Central honorable mention PAC Silas Goff C
  8. Southridge should be really good returning two thirds of their 3 headed monster but O'Brien is a huge loss he was the offensive captain of the PAC and led the Raiders in All-Purpose yards, Kick return yards, receiving yards and touchdowns , 2nd in rushing yards to Shank and 2nd in total yards to Harter. Gibson Southern has to be at least a slight favorite but Southridge, Heritage Hills and North Posey should be very good as well. Who out of South Spencer, Forest Park , Pike Central and Tell City has the best chance to finish in the top half of conference ??
  9. Thanks for the update !
  10. First thing I want to look at when I see a roster is how many from this group Maddox, Lopez, Buse, Rea, Heeke and Newton are on the roster. Line play will be key to being contenders and if most of that group return we should be improved on the line.
  11. I had high hopes for Heritage Hills after last season with a lot of talent returning with varsity experience and freshman and jv teams that had a combined record of 15-1 to fill in the gaps( Undefeated in conference and only loss was JV loss to Jasper ) But with the rumors who knows how much of that talent will be playing I would have to see the roster before making a prediction on HH.
  12. Wow if we lose 8 Seniors that would be a huge blow our senior class would be down to 5 or 6.
  13. Only rumors I heard was incoming sophomores down to 18 from 28 and might not have freshman team... If all you posted is true and we are down to 37 Varsity roster 10-12 that means we lost 12 from the incoming junior/senior classes because last season we had 13 Juniors (one was exchange student so we knew he would be gone ) and 18 sophomores .. It will be interesting the final numbers but would think if the freshman season is canceled those players would be added to the JV/Varsity roster boosting the number at least to over 40. But 2004 Patriots had 35 in 10-12 and beat Chatard in semi state with their roster around 100.

  15. Now that I posted this I heard a rumor today that for the first time in years Heritage Hills might not field a freshman team in 2017. Not sure if its true but that class only had 22 players last year so if they had many kids quit I could see the season being canceled.
