  1. Not really. He'll still need a line to block for him! ;-)
  2. A new chapter with a new Head Coach that has Indiana roots. The Dude hopes to see a paradigm shift in B-town.
  3. Both schools have tremendous coaching. The Dude wouldn't be surprised if these games are close and on the other hand the Dude wouldn't be the least bit surprised if CG ends up out matching NP as well. Good to see this series happen. Good for IHSAA football.
  4. It came from winning National Championships, among other things.
  5. No. Not at all. Early commits come and go. It happens a lot. The Dude will say that the Dude thought he was a solid commit, though. Because of factors you mentioned. Something had to have happened for him to decommit. Regardless, IUFB probably isn't 'jarred' and will continue business as usual on recruiting student-athletes. Best of luck to him during the recruitment process. He's very fortunate to have the opportunity to do so. The Dude hopes he even might reconsider and continue to play 812FB!
  6. What's harsh about it?
  7. They're calling the cops man, put the piece away. The Dude abides.
  8. The irony of you calling the Dude a hypocrite and saying your reading comprehension is just fine in this context is poetic.
  9. Obviously you're not a golfer. Reading comprehension is a horrible thing to waste. The Dude must have hit a nerve. In the meantime enjoy this:
  10. Petition? Ha! Keep up your 'cause', whatever that is.
  11. Says arguably the most prolific posting user on a website catered specifically for extracurricular activities. Go figure.
  12. http://www.espn.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/19211268/concerns-how-injured-indiana-university-athletes-were-treated-athletic-medical-staffers-went-hoosiers-football Kind of makes you wonder how Glass hasn't got any flack for this. Based on this piece it looks like a 'culture' within the entire department. Which looks like it might actually be executive decisions. Having said all that, the Dude wishes OTL would also discussed other schools other than IU. Because this happens at other programs. Just a Dude opinion.
  13. The Dude abides. Time will tell though.
  14. Anybody watch the Spring game? Thought Peyton Ramsey did a great job.
  15. Yeah, the Dude abides. On the other hand, OG declaring for the draft is an overall loss to the team. Not sure how it's preventable though. These kids have a wonderful opportunity and the Dude doesn't blame them on bit taking full advantage of it.
  16. The Dude told you the wrong info. BTN2Go @ 7PM and re-aired on BTN @ 9:30PM ET. http://iuhoosiers.com/news/2017/4/5/springgame2017.aspx?path=football
  17. All things 2017 812 Football.
  18. Verbal Commits: S Jordan Jusevitch - Lowell, IN (1/21/2017) 274 Scout Rivals Vids CB Elijah Rogers - Blacksburg, SC (4/1/2017) 247 Scout Vids ATH/WR Cam Jones - Cordova, TN (4/2/2017) 247 Scout Vids
  19. RB Kristian Pechach - Bloomington South, IN (4/8/2017) 247 Scout Vids
  20. 812FB News Enrollment and classification have been posted. Looks like there's going to be some shake up with 812FB sectionals. New Albany drops to 5A. Seymour jumps to 5A. Southridge drops to 2A. Linton-Stockton jumps to 2A. Perry Central jumps to 2A.
  21. 812FB News Seymour is looking for a new HC. The Owls last season really turned it on and an added bonus is that they've got a really nice facility.
  22. IUFB Spring Game - April 13th @ 7 pm ET on BTN #812FB
