  1. This starts out "the following is a brief summary ", imagine what a long summary would look like.
  2. Varsity participation pretty sure.
  3. HH, southridge, and GS will be in the mix.
  4. Southridge's upcoming senior group beat ours head to head as freshmen. I would say pre season the game would be a coin flip on a neutral field. However we are playing there this fall. And a lot can change between now and then.
  5. I Believe. Good game to all. Thank you to the GS kids for playing hard.
  6. Is today the proverbial "calm before the storm"? I don't know about the rest of you, but it's been hard to focus on work today. I've known most of the GS kids since they were first graders.. It's hard for me wrap my mind around sometimes. All the years of hard work and effort. IB
  7. I don't know for sure how good the game will be, but he Chili is ready and good!
  8. Stat comparisons won't do much good in this case. SOS schedule differences will skew the numbers. Memorial in over their head? Doubtful. As I've said before, your not smoking what your selling either.
  9. This game may better resemble a war. I have a feeling Coach Hurly will have his troops ready. Looking forward to an electric atmosphere Friday night. Weather looks great. Pre game food will be awesome. As far as how the game plays out , I really don't know. Guessing Memorial would love to run the ball effectively, kinda like jasper game. Salt in some timely passes. We like to move the ball quickly. Run or pass. Should be fun to watch.
  10. Tailgating traditionally sets up on either side of the greenhouse. It sets south of the school next to baseball field. Not certain what time I'll get there. At 4:00 there should be beginnings of tailgate activities. Normally we park on pavement and eat in the grass. Look forward to meeting you there.
  11. Chili tailgate is back on for this Friday! Everyone is welcome. I have a couple Memorial buddies who will be there. BTW, I for one, am glad the Raiders went for it on 4th down.
  12. One of the best high school football games I've ever seen. I thought Southridge answered every time. My opinion out played us most of the night. On the flip side we answered as well. Back up QB second half and got it done.
