      Corrupt files   07/26/2017

The server files for the forum were lost early in the morning 26,July 2017.   I restored the forum but using a fresh install of the forum software but we lost all of the images stored on the server. The way I see it... no big deal as it gives us a fresh start.   Over the next couple days I will restore the images I have saved for the forum. but I do not have everyone personal image. You can easily restore that yourself. Any pictures shared in a post that were stored here are also gone... again a fresh start of no clutter.    I just wanted to let you know what was going on. This will display until 1, Sept 2017.

  1. Hoosier Conference 2017

Velaquez will be the starting QB. Deboy, Clark, Turpin are all good options for the other corner spot.
  2. LCC is learning all about those "private school" advantages during this hiring process.
  3. 1A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

itiswhatitis is "feelin" Linton a little bit much. How soon you forget 2011 when you took in an LCC game at Lucas Oil Stadium.. Here are the only Tyler Muerer Highlights I could find...http://www.hudl.com/video/3/4175719/5840b2fd5b3cb027b43a5aad Here is a small clip of Anthrop and there is another Big Ten player on this same field in Mitchel Paige of IU fame. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=My9S6z1mmd0
  4. What position were they offered for?
  5. 1A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Been real busy with Basketball season getting into full swing. Congrats to the Linton Miners on finally getting over the hump.

Quick Correction for Miner Pride...LCC had won 5 Straight.
  7. If you go back to 2003. Pioneer won in about the same fashion. LCC was up 2 with 6 minutes to go and Pioneer had a 5 minute drive to win the game. Back then of course LCC wasn't what it is today. Pioneer deserves all the credit. They are the first 1A team in 8 years to really take it to our defense. They're coaches did an excellent job scouting our slants. I don't think LCC expected Pioneer to come out in a man to man, not sure LCC made the adjustments needed to move the ball consistently.

You're welcome. I'd say this win will keep him around. I realize a lot of adults around here are going to celebrate this loss. You guys enjoy it too. The sun comes up, the program moves on.

Pioneer out played LCC. They slayed the dragon. Congrats it should be celebrated. They shoved the ball down LCCs throat for 4 quarters. Jack Kiser is best 1A player since Danny Anthrop. Now Pioneer go Win a State title. Your work isn't done.

I certainly don't live in Illinois.

A city boy, a country boy, or perhaps more like a chameleon?

LCC is use to playing on fields that lack grass, we live in northern Indiana, lucky enough for us we've played in late November 7 of the last 8 years when there isn't anything green left. Don't you worry yourself, our team is solely focused on Pioneer. LCC should be more worried about getting out of Royal Center since the last time ended with slashed tires to one of the buses. Something tells me overnight accommodations won't be the most friendly if the tires go flat again. Pioneer faithful are wondering if they'll have to replace their QB again though. Calm the masses Takkle4!!!

This is an interesting question, because the HNAC circles, West Lafayette Circles, and LCC circles have all heard the youngest is headed to WL next fall. LCC doesn't have a lot of decision making to do this week in terms of game plan. They need to do what they do and limit turnovers. LCC has a decided advantage in depth. Playing 2 players full time both ways and 1 player part time. I have a feeling LCC will come out more focused than they have the past two weeks. Pioneer will probably show a number of different coverages to keep Denhart off balance. When Pioneer decides to blitz they are usually in a cover 1. This can lead to some match up problems with LCC's Wings and Pioneers outside backers, but they will have safety help floating around. Denhart needs to be patient and look underneath in these situations the long ball can wait. I will be surprised if the Panthers front 4 can provide consistent pressure.
