      Corrupt files   07/26/2017

The server files for the forum were lost early in the morning 26,July 2017.   I restored the forum but using a fresh install of the forum software but we lost all of the images stored on the server. The way I see it... no big deal as it gives us a fresh start.   Over the next couple days I will restore the images I have saved for the forum. but I do not have everyone personal image. You can easily restore that yourself. Any pictures shared in a post that were stored here are also gone... again a fresh start of no clutter.    I just wanted to let you know what was going on. This will display until 1, Sept 2017.

  1. I believe NP may try and play a partial freshmen schedule (4 games) this year.
  2. Not only do the Vikings open the season with new Coach Waylon Schenk at home Friday night. The Vikings are also honoring former head coach Carl Joe Gengelbach by naming the field after him. Coach Gengelbach was an assistant for one year before being named the head coach in 1970. Coach was our head coach until 2013 when he decided to retire. During his time at North Posey he guided his teams to six PAC championships, four sectional champions, four regional championships, and a state finals berth in 2005. He had two undefeated regular seasons (1996, 2012) and also coached the south all-star team in the North/South game in 1982 and 1997. He was President of the IFCA in 1986, served two terms as Region 9 Director and 29 years on coaches rating board. Twice voted Region 9 coach of the year and was a member of the IFCA Ethics Committee, was inducted into the Indiana Football Hall of Fame in 2000, inducted into the University of Evansville Hall of Fame in 2010 where he was a two year starter and three year letterman. Coach and his wife Shannon both attended Tell City High School and raised their two sons Mike and Mark here in Poseyville. Both Mike and Mark currently have children in our school system. Coachs resume does not do him justice, he has been a great teacher, coach, father, husband, role model, and a truly caring father like figure to many Vikings thru the years. Recently Coach has begun spending time at the Jr High volunteer coaching when he has time. Looking forward to honoring a great man Friday night!
  3. I liked your post before your edit, everything you said made sense. Appreciate the attention North Posey does get from the courier, as a fan you always want more but I understand we are not an Evansville school and probably don't have enough subscribers to justify anymore attention. I really enjoyed the story about Coach Schenk overhauling the culture and the team capsules. The new segments with the Q&A and power rankings are nice as well!

I hope you are correct, this conference needs Tell City to be good!
