  1. Is he the corporation AD or high school AD? I was just told he is the corpoation AD. Can anyone confirm?
  2. As an alumnus of SJC i am thoroughly disgusted and heart broken that the school is suspending operations (It is most likely closing because there is no way they will raise $ 130 million in 2 years. The past 5 years has been totally mismanaged and the Board of Trustees did nothing to help find a solution. Not once did the alumni get a letter stating the sad state of affairs. I believe the C.PP.S. who sponsored the school want to close it and sell it to someone. Almosst 40 years to the day the Administration Building burned down the school is closing. But I am a Puma for life.
  3. So, Lafayette CC and Chatard are both looking for games week 5 according to John Harrell's sight. Both are replacing legendary coaches. Why not play each other? Any thoughts?
  4. South Bend Tribune today says that Mishawaka is moving down to 4A in football. They did not petition the IHSAA to remain in 5A.
  5. How many Indiana want to schedule Cathedral for a starting point? Some may for one year or two because they many think they can compete. After MIC schools how many other schools in Indiana have the open dates to even consider playing Cathedral?
  6. See where Cathedral has filled their schedule with 2 consecutive trips to Wayne St in Detroit to play 2 games per John Jarrell's schedules
  7. Cincy Moeller Cincy Cross Town Classic, Louisville Trinity, Scott Co. KY, Lafayette KY. Concy St X, Cincy Lasalle, Cincy Elder. Cleveland St Ignatius, Lakewood St Ed, Cincy Wonton Woods (I think Chtard plays them)
  8. How many Indiana schools would even attempt to play Cathedral year after year? Let's think about it.
  9. So their schedule is out with an open date but how many schools in Indiana would even attempt to play a schedule like this........... Louisville St Xavier, Detroit King, Chatard, Cincy St. Xavier, Jeffersonville, Ryle Union, KY., Lakewood St Ed's, and Center Grove unless they get wiped out with injuries is 5A theirs to lose?
  10. I thought this guy was classy and trying to change the culture Too bad things did not pan out
  11. Moving quickly, maybe a good thing. Thanks
  12. Ironic the job is not posted on the corporation web site An internal hiring coming up?
  13. The banquets are coming to end and the winter work outs are starting.........any news or word on NIC schools for 2017? I see where Mishawaka has dropped Cathedral and picked up Chicago Marist according to John Harrell's sight Any other happenings going on?
  14. I thought that the current set-up was for 4 year before it would be reviewed. Maybe someone can confirm that http://www.southbendtribune.com/news/education/athletic-superintendent-wants-to-build-culture-of-winning-in-south/article_48d3d3ea-ba19-11e6-b91e-8f65dae63382.html Interesting article on the SBCSC athletic teams
  15. Kelly and Swarbrick need to go. They are in this situation because the admission office looks at each player Kelly wants and will take a chance. Based on the character of many of his players and the off the filed issue they both need to. And Kelly says tonight in an interview from earlier the academic side is not his responsibility. He is the CFO of the football team and he never takes responsibility for anything
