      Corrupt files   07/26/2017

The server files for the forum were lost early in the morning 26,July 2017.   I restored the forum but using a fresh install of the forum software but we lost all of the images stored on the server. The way I see it... no big deal as it gives us a fresh start.   Over the next couple days I will restore the images I have saved for the forum. but I do not have everyone personal image. You can easily restore that yourself. Any pictures shared in a post that were stored here are also gone... again a fresh start of no clutter.    I just wanted to let you know what was going on. This will display until 1, Sept 2017.

  1. DB Faceguarding

Asking any officials. How often have you called faceguarding and what is your flag trigger to make this call??
  2. PAC 2017

    Boonville at North Posey scrimmage
  3. PAC 2017

HH, Corydon Central, and Boonville participated in a V & JV 7vs7 this morning. A lot of good reps for all involved at HH who was an excellent host.
  4. Big Eight 2017

BIG8 graduated some SR RB's that had been around awhile. Moody (Wash), Kennard (MtC), Cartwright (Boon), Meier (MtV), Bickler (Prin). Not too shabby group of backs. I believe Jasper and Vincennes both return their RB.
  5. PAC 2017

I had the privilege of getting to know this man in a very short window. I really enjoyed his stories and passion for HH football. He had some great insites on motivation and strength training as well as thoughts on recruiting. Some days we just talked about fishing and his grandsons. Like him or leave him, you always knew where he stood. Fish'on Tom!

  7. Haven't read that one. I'll try and check it out. Also read one on the "dollar" package the Rams used vs the Cowboys to combat their shotgun spread stuff. 7 DBS, 4 DL. Very interesting...

  11. Hudl Sideline

I'll keep that rule in mind when we make our first state finals appearance. Lol Was thinking more of opinions or discussion type debates from IHSAA vs actual rule implementation or enforcement. More so just how far technology has come and when it becomes an advantage for those that can afford it or choose to embrace it. Really don't want to show up at a youth league game seeing coaches with headsets on. Lol
  12. Hudl Sideline

Mainly talking Hudl sideline. NFL protocol, if one team loses communications, both teams are required to no longer use them until the other teams is fixed for competition fairness. Curious how this is viewed by the IHSAA? Plus tieing it in to percentage of Private/Parochial schools using advanced technology vs Public schools?
  13. Hudl Sideline

What angle are you filming... LOS, behind the Off or Def, yours or opponent? Not sure I could see what I would want. Bout 3 or 4 yrs ago we experimented with 2 -Ipads. 1 for Off and 1 for Def. Filmed from pressbox, had freshman runners switching them out with sideline between series. Didn't always need to look, but did help at times.
  14. Hudl Sideline

Does anyone have an opinion on considering this tool to be an "arms race" and advantage vs underfunded, understaffed, or low turn out programs?

  19. You got enough recruits already. Way to many studs, mine would probably just make the scout team. Lol
  20. Maybe so, I think I have an old list of emails from youth league days. Did you talk to my son down at EVV North at Elliots camp? He mentioned someone from GS spoke to him.
  21. Cappy, I'm just messing with 32. My point why bring it up other than start rumours. Coach Schenk will do what's in the best interest of all his kids. That's why he was a wanted commodity. Wish all well. Until we scrimmage or play either.
  22. Lol, don't be vague....You know. Doesn't hurt my feelings a bit. PAC brethren may not be as happy. Js ?
  23. Our home stands are built in the hillside. The small strip of green grass next to the end of our stands is the perfect spot to work on leg drive and explosion from a 4 pt stance (bear crawl) up the hill finishing in an upright sprint past the light pole. Then walk around pole and back down. This is done in 2 or 3 man competition races. Mostly done as a part of a multi-station circuit in off season. Try to get 12-18 reps depending on skill guys or linemen in a 5 min period with 15-20 seconds between reps.
  24. Coaches have taken to twitter for more than just team info or catchy quotes. If you look their are weekly 1hr evening chats multiple times and days a week. With questions sent in by coaches or topics suggested by host. I myself have found myself gravitating to these instead watching people argue about P/P or being disrespected because of this or that. I love the officials trivia questions on here with discussions ( could use more of these), But you don't hear much real football on here because coaches don't want to be trolled for insights into why they do or do not do things a certain way. Maybe a weekly Defensive section or weekly Offensive section might draw more young coaches wanting to learn and maybe educate a few parents or grandparents etc... why little Johnny played last week and not this week or why he only goes in on 3rd down. Not saying do away with the diehard fans give jabs during rivalry week or tourney time some of those are pretty good. Just my opinion. Take it or leave it. ?
  25. I don't disagree that could be the reasoning. But Northwood has 2 players for the North team and was state runner-up. Roncalli has 1 representative as State champion. Not trying to be argumentative, I had been told before HC gets 2. Afterthought, there also are players that would not play due to next level obligations.
