  1. I know the school paid to have it done and the new logo looks good......but there's only 1 Roncalli R. Talk about iconic. It's original and still looks good. Why didn't the rest of the athletic dept just adopt the helmet logo as the main logo?
  2. Is that the #teaseralert?
  3. Agreed. The absolute best there is. Proud to know him and call him a friend. Has impacted many lives including my own.
  4. Tipton is in all one building. Grades 6-8 are sandwiched in between the HS and K-5. I know Hamilton Heights has their 6-8 in the old HS in Arcadia. But I think they are trying to get that changed as soon as possible.
  5. Supposedly Kiffin had the Houston job and Houston back out. I wonder if Houston got a phone call from a certain number in Tuscaloosa. I think Kiffin did something at Bama that warranted the phone call i.e. taking assistants with him. Or didn't tell Saban the whole story or something of that nature.
  6. I do think that he isn't easy to work for but part of this is circumstances too. Smart was rumored for all kinds of HC jobs the previous couple of years and he waited for Georgia. Kiffin can't leave a job in a normal fashion even if he tried. Seriously he's crashed and burned every spot he's been at. And Sark got a really good job he couldn't pass up.
  7. I really like Barkely. Only in his 4th start and the offense is playing the best it has all year. And he's been doing it with a lot of receivers injured. Just got Jeffrey back today. And as we showed today...the secondary is awful.
  8. I'm glad he's with us! We're losing a starter and he has a good chance to start next year. Also these recruiting/scouting sites are very often wrong. Most of them base their stars on who has offered them or who is actively recruiting them. UK has a guy that was a two star recruit (offers from Buffalo, Monmouth) that played in or started every game he's been at UK and leads the team in sacks as a soph. They don't know anymore than anybody else.
  9. I don't think Ole Miss is going anywhere. I thought the word was that they are coming back down to 3A enrollment wise.
  10. If we make it back to one of the #1 seeds, we'll play them and I'm not really scared of them. We should be a 1 seed if we take 2-3 against UNC/Louisville/Kansas and win the SEC/SEC Tournament like we normally do.
  11. UCLA will be up there too. If they're are consistent, that is a really good team. Have size, depth, and good guard play.
  12. As far as QB goes for next year, I'd like them to see if Matt Barkley can be a starting NFL QB. Use this offseason to get better at everywhere else but QB because I'm not sold on any of them. Kaaya as a project maybe.
  13. I'd be surprised if it's only 6.
  14. Yeah pretty much Wing-T in flexbone formations. Down play with the FB and run their counter off of that is normally their top two plays. Will run some option(midline mostly). Jet sweep. It's been a couple of years since I've seen them but Adamson has run those main plays since the late 90s.
  15. I was at that Shenandoah v Winchester game with a friend. I don't see him as a TB at Michigan. He doesn't like contact but did a better job in the 2nd half of running between the tackles. I think he could be a Big Ten back if he's in a zone scheme. A lot of Winchester's scheme was trying to bust him outside with stretch/outside zone/jet sweep. He does look effortless when he runs. Shenandoah has a couple of guys who have a little speed and he was in a different class. Also he'd have to play corner if he plays defense because of already said contact issues/tackling. And even then I'm not sure he's cut out for defense. Probably a TB or WR/returner if I'm projecting.
