      Corrupt files   07/26/2017

The server files for the forum were lost early in the morning 26,July 2017.   I restored the forum but using a fresh install of the forum software but we lost all of the images stored on the server. The way I see it... no big deal as it gives us a fresh start.   Over the next couple days I will restore the images I have saved for the forum. but I do not have everyone personal image. You can easily restore that yourself. Any pictures shared in a post that were stored here are also gone... again a fresh start of no clutter.    I just wanted to let you know what was going on. This will display until 1, Sept 2017.

  1. We have sufficient visitor bleachers for most if not all visitors...most of the time visitors might fill 50 percent. GS since 2012 has started to fill them up but for decades GS didn't fill even 50%! Did GS finally upgrade their visitor bleachers....they used to sit so low and only for a few hundred visitors at best...we had as many standing that could fit in the bleachers at your field versus what the bleachers could hold
  2. PAC 2017

PAC predictions week 1 Forest Park at Gibson Southern GS by a lot Heritage Hills at Mount Vernon (Posey), HH by 3Tds Perry Central at Tell City, toss up Pike Central at Evansville Bosse, Bosses by 3 scores South Spencer at North Posey NP by a lot Southridge at Linton-Stockton, SR by 2 scores
  3. Soutridge @ Linton

Kudos to Linton for the 2016 State Title... but unfortunately I feel that Southridge has a stronger unit returning... tough to play in Linton but I think SR wins by 2 TDs. Good luck to both squads...
  4. Ironically from 2000-2007 HH played in 2 state title games and lost in the Semistate in 5 games for an amazing 102 wins and 8 losses in that span...your right...we sure did have some good squads in those days...good run for a long while alot of high scoring lopsided wins.... but I will never apologize for that... nor should GS in their current run... Football is played to win... let up on the gas and you can lose on some freak injury.... I can remember a few games where we pulled starters by halftime only for the other team to leave their starters in... pounding our youngins... Coach would get pissed and put our starters back in... to flip the tide... I loved those moments...Coach Clayton was and is iconic to Patriot Football... some day I hope to see the field renamed to Bob Clayton Field!
  5. HH and MV have had some great battles over the years... with Brunson and newly found confidence.... MV could make a huge turnaround this season... they have some athletes! I don't expect a walk in the park Friday night... 1st game of the season for both... both have tall expectations ... me personally 1st games can be jittery for HS boys... by week 3 they tend to settle in their zones!!
  6. Thanks Dave for the clarification ... you are the data bank of knowledge when it comes to historical Football data
  7. Blind side blocks (decleats to unsuspecting players) some call cheap shots... I have wanted the rule implemented in some form... if I understand correctly... the giving player must have his hands extended giving the hit rather the the monster hit with shoulder pads . I have seen a lot of injuries over the years . I know we all like big hits but the guy getting whacked and not seeing it coming ... I bet he didn't share in that same likeness!
  8. 3A to my knowledge of the IHSAA playoff format... HH has always been 3A
  9. Btw, thanks for posting the 2000 results... by far the best PAC team ever to take the field... South Spencer was greatly overlooked but credit to them, they played like lights out on their side...a big wake up call for us that no doubtly helped our mojo to win a State Title. But if you look at the results and going through 6 opponents with 5 road games and only one home game in the playoffs.... was no easy feat... lots of miles on them boys... I declare that 2000 HH team to be the all time greatest PAC team to date... maybe this year a GS or SR can put a 15-0 on the board and join HH at the table!
  10. PAC 2017

The AP poll and coaches polls are out. GS and SR are highly ranked in the top 14.... I hope that HH can play their absolute best and maybe we can knock off the powerhouses of the PAC this season. Will be a tough outing on both games... but underdogs have won before... right?
  11. 746 points....of course you have to play 15 to get there... hey that 90 -0 blow out had a ton of defensive and special teams scores .... not to mention Coach Clayton called for a running clock and PC coach refused....guess we could have taken a knee every game.... a lot of goose eggs that season including against the defending state champion in the SS game...magical season that we are certainly proud of.....and so many schools would love to have a season like ours....
  12. Can you believe we were a run first team back then! The good ole' bone......it still works when we dabble it in a spread offense...kinda confuses the defense...if you know what I mean!
  13. FP is a first class program and their staff and athletes need to be treated as such!
  14. I will add my two cents....I have watched ALL of the local football previews and in every player interview- I saw excitement and eagerness from the players to put their hard work to the test on Friday nights....its what high school kids do....now as adults...lets act like adults...as for the games itself...the object is to score the most points to win. The only team I have ever saw of recent to intentionally fall down on a play to avoid scoring was HH...we didn't need to score again... we wanted to watch that clock slowly expire to 00:00 and preserve a sweet win in a hostile environment.
