  1. I won't get into that debate but I'll say this about he Ritter speedway game , that game was bc of the very slow start Ritter got off to start the season , not bc of the strength of speedway, speedway was not a good team this year, they had 1 really good player that's it. If Ritter played them at the end of the year it would've been a bad blow out. Beating speedway the past 2 years is no great accomplishment, they've been way down from what they use to be.
  2. Congrats to the Miners ! Well deserved !
  3. There's gonna be back to back state champs from the ICC , the ICC is beyond difficult. From what ive seen from Easrbrook I don't think they could beat Monrovia , Scecina or maybe even Triton Central when they were healthy this year, and would struggle with Lutheran . That might seem like a slam on Easrbrook and I don't mean it to be, its just how strong the teams in the ICC are.
  4. As i feared, we would turn the ball over in this nasty weather and it would kill us, just cant do that in these kinda games. Nice run by the Dawg's though, Proud of the effort and cant wait for new things next year! Congrats to Ritter!
  5. I just about hit that one, as i thought Linton just to fast for Lutheran, congrats Miners!
  6. Monrovia 7 Ritter 7 Halftime
  7. Monrovia 7 Ritter 0
  8. I doubt with the weather and wind that's predicted for tonight that either passing game will be a factor. That said Jelly does throw a nice deep ball.
  9. 47- 13 Linton, if weather plays a roll I say 34- 6 Linton. I've seen both teams play this year and I just don't see this being close unless Linton lays a egg which I dont see happening.
  10. I didn't have a issue with anything the fans behind the fence said to me, the language with small kids standing there was kinda bad, but that kinda stuff doesn't bother me, it's getting hit with a water bottle in the neck that takes it to far. That being said I don't think bad or any less of Linton, when I first got there which was very early , I was greeted by several Linton fans asking about Monrovia and the team last year that won state, They were very friendly and welcoming. Look forward to playing y'all again next year.
  11. I was at Linton for the Monrovia game and can speak on the fans outside the fence on the visitors side, I was hit with a water bottle exiting the bleachers, then laughed at and told "you didn't think we'd let you leave without a good bye did ya" I talked to a couple Miner people about it and they said they weren't surprised and apologized.
  12. Nice job by the Dawg's. they win 35-28, will play ICC rival Ritter for the right to go to LOS for the 2nd straight year!
