  1. What do you mean by "as attractive conference members"?
  2. Would this conference be receptive to adding Indiana schools that are so far away?
  3. Going from Conference Indiana to the MIC is like going from the Mountain West Conference to the SEC.
  4. Wholeheartedly agree with you. Not sure what the situation is in Bloomington but I know in Terre Haute it's not good. I would almost bet that the Terre Haute schools would balk at this conference idea although they will likely be without a conference in a year.
  5. Owen Valley and Edgewood would likely be competitive in all sports but football. Northview would be able to compete with everyone except for Bloomington South on a yearly basis.
  6. Very seriously doubt that Northview would ever leave the WIC. They are the largest school in the conference and enjoy being the biggest and baddest member.
  7. All of the Illinois schools around Terre Haute are small. At this point I think that the best possible options for Terre Haute are to either split up and go to seperate conferences to minimize travel to Terre Haute by other conference members or to join a conference as football and possibly basketball only members. All other sports could either join the WIC or the Wabash River Conference which are both made up of much smaller schools. It is rumored that a new administration will be taking over the school district over the summer. There is also current talk of either a fourth high school, combining North and South or rebuilding or remodeling all three schools which would include all new athletic facilities/locker rooms for all major sports. It was said that these athletic facilities would be state of the art.
  8. In what conference could Southport land? What would be a good fit?
  9. What do you foresee happening?
  10. Is this school interested in joining Conference Indiana?
  11. Whiteland scrimmages TH North prior to week 1 of the season and has for the last few years.
  12. Top notch.....most teams ran like respective high school programs.
  13. Better conference members could be found? From what I hear there isn't any school knocking at the door with excitement asking to be a member of CI......just saying.
  14. Personally I don't think that the Terre Haute schools are going anywhere. It's worked out well so far. Haven't the Terre Haute schools finished at the top of the conference in two of the four years that they have been members? Are there a lot of schools interested in becoming members of CI? Are any of the current member schools considered traditional football powerhouses in the state?
  15. Poorest of facilities because they don't have turf?
