Go Now that we are at least a few games in for most teams, and some conference battles in Banks, does everyone still have the same predictions? Haven’t seen many teams play but from what I’ve seen this is what I predict: 1. Covington 2. Parke heritage 3. Seeger 4. Fountain Central 4. South vermillion 5. Attica 6. Riverton parke 8. North Vermillion

One being the leading rebounder in school history also correct? I believe NV lost 9 seniors. The entire varsity rotation. With a new coach, look for a very down year there. Seeger, SV, RP, Attica I believe lost most of their firepower also. I'm intrigued by Parke heritage. As much talent as they had last year, they seemed to play more as a team when some of their seniors weren’t on the court.

How is FC predicting? Did they lose much? Covington should yet again come out on top.. I know both of the vermillions losing quite a bit. NV will probably have the furthest fall, as they lose a lot of talent.. their entire varsity roster. I Can’t speak on the talent of the new team, but they will sure be inexperienced.

That sectional was tough! They had 3 teams that I believed had a pretty legitimate shot to win that sectional. still, not bad when 15/16 teams are still alive! Only 1 wrong in 2A so far, but a lot of games left. Definitely not expecting to get them all right lol.

Who all from the 2019 senior class has commited and/or signed to play collegiate basketball next year? I’m very curious from all schools 1A-4A. I may keep a list here for reference also.

I think I agree with most of your rankings. Top 5-6 4A teams are pretty distant from the rest in my opinion. Same with 1a, 1-3 are pretty far ahead of the field.

Well since we are back up and running, I’ll start the topic back up. Anything new and exciting in the WRC? A few surprises thus far into conference play. 1. Attica 4-1 2. Covington 3-1 3. Seeger 2-2 4. North vermillion 1-1 5. Fountain central 2-2 6. South Vermillion 0-1 7. Parke Heritage 0-2 8. Riverton Parke 0-3 I’ve been following Parke Heritage because I found them intriguing, but after witnessing their game against NV Friday night, they won’t be successful. Their coach was dropping F bombs and cursing at players and coaches of NV. an organization will never be successful with that kind of leadership at the head. Parke Heritage should be ashamed. Attica has shocked everybody, I think their coaching has put them in great positioning when they knocked off Covington and north vermillion. Covington might be the most inconsistent team in the conference depending strongly on the perimeter shooting., and NV cannot seem to piece together a complete game, flashes of a great team followed by strong disappointments. It should be a real exciting few weeks with conference play winding up. I believe 6-8 will probably stay the same, with FC and NV might climb a few spots.
