The IHSAA bylaws specify the process by which the IHSAA Commissioner’s office runs the day to day activities, while the Executive Committee (elected by the Members) oversees them. Pretty much the way most corporations operate: shareholders elect a Board of Directors, who hire the CEO and oversee operations.

    In fairness, I think we should entertain the possibility that this is simply a generational thing. So much is different now from the “good old days” that I can conceive of the combination of great skill and “now” generation sensitivities being compatible, and not a hindrance. Look at me, all silver lining …

    The prevailing sentiment in the Region. Just keep in mind that HC has overmatched quite a few teams in the last few seasons. There are bound to be some sour grapes out there.

    If I can root for Tom Brady, I can root for a USC guy … if he doesn’t turn out to be a jackass. But the early signs are not encouraging.
