  2. State Title Games

Snider is a p/p school? That is news to me.
  3. *sigh* I have put forward this idea multiple times over the years, in multiple threads. Perhaps you can do some research. Here is a quick primer: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Promotion_and_relegation
  4. A true system of promotion and relegation.
  5. Seeding wouldn't be as important an issue if not every team made the playoffs, as should be the case. Make the regular season actually mean something.
  6. I guess I'm just stupid and don't understand. So you are saying that instead of trying to change the IHSAA's current football playoff system those coaches/AD's/school that wish for change are better off withdrawing from the IHSAA completely and forming a separate association?
  7. Please tell me how this "sign up for the playoffs" system would work. Sounds intriguing.
  8. Fixed the typo for you. Bah, you claim to be against the "wussification of America" yet you agree with the "let all the wussy teams in" playoff system. You can't have it both ways.
  9. How realignment knocked Notre Dame off its pedestal http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/20580851/conference-realignment-leveled-field-notre-dame It is powerful indeed, especially in South Bend.
  10. ? I thought it was a decent mid-major stadium the times I have been there to watch a Cardinals game.
  11. Kokomo's dream season comes to a dreary end next weekend. Columbus East 45, Kokomo 14 I believe the Olympians simply have the superior OMG! Athletes to combat Mr. Colby's offense in a phone booth.
  12. I like this idea. Neutral sites for semi-state games.
  13. http://abcnews.go.com/US/nfl-player-confirmed-1st-diagnosis-cte-living-patient/story?id=51181721 How sad. Is the very real chance of this happening to your child worth the risk?
  14. Mr. Colby is a master of the "phone booth" offense, if he has the Jimmie's and Joe's to run it effectively. It worked well at Frankfort until the talent pool started to dry up, and the other teams in the Sagamore conference become more adroit at defending it.
  15. Thank you for your support.
  16. No Gipper, I am a mental midget compared to your prowess.
  17. Whatever. Take your ball and go home.
  18. "I find it nonsensical to be afraid of a Class A school, but, hey, that’s me." What does this statement even mean? I thought Class A schools only play other Class A school during the tournament? Using your logic, shouldn't ALL games in the state tournament be played at a host school's home field, including the state championship game?
  19. To eliminate the advantages a home field can impart, especially if what I have read about "The Pit" are true.
  20. Semistate games need to be played on a neutral field.
  21. And after visiting Big Ben go eat at Ray's Drive In, a Kokomo staple for decades. Get the King Tenderloin:
  22. The Indianapolis Star will almost always pick a player from Marion or the surrounding doughnut counties. That keeps the vast majority of their (probably still slowly dwindling) readership happy since most of them live in that area.
