  1. I'm onboard again to do 1A.
  2. I hope Joe Ruhl's not retiring. I have a couple more kids that I want to have him as a teacher. Amazing teaching and amazing man.
  3. Looking forward to seeing how things progress. Seems to have the right attitude for moving forward and leveraging what the school has in terms of kids and resources. I haven't heard any details on new staff, but I believe that some of the guys that were there last year are staying on, so I don't think it will end up being a wholesale housecleaning. Having the Purdue ties as well as the previous LCC ties should help cut down on the "learning curve." LCC will be in a rebuild/reload season this year. Lots of guys returning, but a couple challenges coupled with a new coaching staff will produce some additional twists to the season. Will be really curious to see how this works out on the OLine and QB slots to begin with. Receivers and backs should be fairly solid. Secondary will be interesting too.
  4. Anyone who gets there wins.
  5. Wouldn't that still be two teams? Heck, I'm game ... last 7 of 8.
  6. You are correct sir. Tecumseh dropped a state championship baseball game in 2010 to LCC 4-2. That was LCC's fourth title win and Tecumseh's 4th visit to the state finals. Of course, LCC and Tecumseh both made it to the state finals before, in 2003, but LCC's history only shows them as a state finalist, there were four state finalists that year, while Tecumseh took state that year.
  7. Carroll's no slouch in that mix either. Probably guarantees that one, if not both, of the last two North 1A state championship representatives will be in 1A for at least the next four years
  8. At least one open question has been answered.
  9. Yeah, but then my post isn't nearly as funny ... although still applicable ... except for Cici's.
  10. LCC has bleachers; however, every other screw is removed on the visitor side to make sure that they are sturdy on the home side. Scoreboard works too as long as you don't need even numbers (those are currently still in the gym, but could be returning since basketball season is officially over). There's no CiCi's in Lafayette anymore. The town wasn't big enough to sustain the interest from the national chain. Will need to have the game played on a Friday in Lent to coincide with the KofC Fish Fry if planning to feed "the multitudes."
