Agreed. If the weather was anything like it was at BD tonight, I can't imagine that CG can use rain as an excuse. It was a nasty night, but the rain stopped before gametime at BD and came back right after the game.

Indy area 5A football is a tough one to figure out this year! Congrats to the fellow Panthers.

I am surprised it took this long for someone to start a thread about this game.
This is indeed a big upset.
It can happen on any given night, that's why you play the game! ;)

I don't think it would have been the rain, both teams have to play in those conditions. But I am curious of how it went down? Did CG mail it in and look past to next week? Help Me understand?

Weather or not! This is a 1 and 6 team that mighty CG was playing tonight! You think there was a little over looking going on here.

Someone will have to convince me how this is not the upset of at least the last 5 years, maybe 10. At Center Grove, on senior night. Yes nasty night, but on field turf with a run oriented team? Makes absolutely no sense. Congrats to the Panthers, as others have said thats why you go play the game!

to CG's defense I heard that CG had a ton of people out this week due to injuries sustained in the last couple games...but still, we beat NC 31-0, get shellacked by what looked like a title contender in CG, then CG looses to NC....oh yeah, THN beat NC last week...that's just a freaky outcome...still wouldn't take CG lightly in the next game

This thought has crossed My Mind and bear with Me here cause I might be way off base on this. Lets say hypatheticly Moore throws this game on purpose to get His team fired up to make a playoff run? I'm Just saying not implying.

there were a number of guys out or no where near 100% due to injuries or sickness that has taken its toll on the CG locker room. However, one can say the same most likely has occured to North Central. Bottom line, the Panthers played the better game and deserved the win. Congrats to North Central.

Let's hope the Trojans learned something tonight. Always respect your opponent and only take 1 game at a time.

What will CG be like in the next game? Who knows? Given the ugliness of tonights game, I honestly am not sure what team will show up. This was not the same team that played against BD the week before.

I was kind of thinking the same thing but senior night home game ........... nope wouldnt happen. Maybe NC had a good gameplen. Cg's d was tough again but from what ive seen of cg (and that is alot hometown sports game of the week nearly everyweek...) but my thoughts are stop the run and the pass to the TE and you pretty much stop CG. ANd hey give credit to North Central stuffing Cg at the 1 in OT thats terrific! From the webcast it sounded like cg had a lineman playing a rb position even trying to get and extra Big Boy in there to block. And yeah those boys are seemingly large this season. Amazing how big they are growing them up there in greenwood these days.......

Hummm interesting??? I'm not so sure though. Knowing CG has to travel to your home field next week. Could give them 2 loses in a row headed into the playoffs.

Understand Me. I'm not implying anything or trying to ruffle feathers, just trying to understand how this could have happened. I just want to be clear on that.

That would mean Coach Moore believes he can't motivate his team, as that is the ultimate extreme (and pathetic) attempt at motivation. No coach with success would do that............as logic and ego would preclude it.
