to CG's defense I heard that CG had a ton of people out this week due to injuries sustained in the last couple games...but still, we beat NC 31-0, get shellacked by what looked like a title contender in CG, then CG looses to NC....oh yeah, THN beat NC last week...that's just a freaky outcome...still wouldn't take CG lightly in the next game

there were a number of guys out or no where near 100% due to injuries or sickness that has taken its toll on the CG locker room. However, one can say the same most likely has occured to North Central. Bottom line, the Panthers played the better game and deserved the win. Congrats to North Central.

Let's hope the Trojans learned something tonight. Always respect your opponent and only take 1 game at a time.

What will CG be like in the next game? Who knows? Given the ugliness of tonights game, I honestly am not sure what team will show up. This was not the same team that played against BD the week before.

This thought has crossed My Mind and bear with Me here cause I might be way off base on this. Lets say hypatheticly Moore throws this game on purpose to get His team fired up to make a playoff run? I'm Just saying not implying.

I was kind of thinking the same thing but senior night home game ........... nope wouldnt happen. Maybe NC had a good gameplen. Cg's d was tough again but from what ive seen of cg (and that is alot hometown sports game of the week nearly everyweek...) but my thoughts are stop the run and the pass to the TE and you pretty much stop CG. ANd hey give credit to North Central stuffing Cg at the 1 in OT thats terrific! From the webcast it sounded like cg had a lineman playing a rb position even trying to get and extra Big Boy in there to block. And yeah those boys are seemingly large this season. Amazing how big they are growing them up there in greenwood these days.......

Hummm interesting??? I'm not so sure though. Knowing CG has to travel to your home field next week. Could give them 2 loses in a row headed into the playoffs.

Understand Me. I'm not implying anything or trying to ruffle feathers, just trying to understand how this could have happened. I just want to be clear on that.

That would mean Coach Moore believes he can't motivate his team, as that is the ultimate extreme (and pathetic) attempt at motivation. No coach with success would do that............as logic and ego would preclude it.

Somebody may have mentioned this already, but with CG's loss, does this give Carmel the MIC title? Or is it possible for WC to tie?

With wins next week by WC over CG and BD over Carmel, Carmel will have to share with WC so I say ...GO GIANTS!

It was a little worse than that. NC actually lost to THS. Next week's NC vs THN should be a decent game.

Eric Moore would never throw a game. That's preposterous.

Not in a billion years would Coach Moore ever purposely lose a game as a form of motivation for a game the following week. Never, Never, Never!

Not only would that insinuate something about CG's ethics, but also doesn't give NC the credit they deserve.

I don't know how they will respond. I told my son last night that I wouldn't want to be a player during film review today and practice this week.

I don't think I would want to be a Center Grove player this week either.

Hell, I would take living in Center Grove, beats living where I grew up on the East side of Indy. Center Grove is like the Carmel of Greenwood. I could live with my son playing for Coach Moore if he was still around at the time. Great coach and a quality program with an outstanding feeder system. I honestly cannot for the life of me think of one reason not to be proud if my kids were at Center Grove. Well, except that I would be forced to root against the Warriors when they played.

Thanks WCG...I coached against the Warren feeder system and their teams in the IEFA. Warren has an incredible feeder system....was always our toughest games. I got nothing but respect for the Warren program.

Always welcome!!
