Boyle has been to the state championship game 5 out the last 6 years.  2017 won, 2018 semifinals lose, 2019 lost in state game by 1 point, 2020 won , 2021 won, 2022 won. And has 5 players rated in the top 20 in state this year. Should be a good game

GS will have to execute perfectly to have a shot.  The good news is we will learn a lot about what we need to fix from a game like this.

I’m sure both teams will learn a lot from this match up.   Now Boyle is only a 3a school that plays up in 4a ,  Is GS the same way ?

No sir.  This year based on football enrollment 3A runs from 511 students to 790 in Indiana.  Gibson Southern has 704.  We are in the middle of a cornfield.

Gotcha, Boyle got over 800 I do believe.  Now I heard that GS has won a few state championship themselves, how many do they have?

There is no need to compare resumes.....we aren't even close to Boyle in any category.  We have won 1.  We already know how many Boyle has won.

We just hope to execute and complete.  Hoping for a safe fun contest.

I was told you guys won 2 back to back, I know very little of the team.  And anything can happen you never know. Boyle’s best team “in my opinion “ lost in 2019 by a point due to turning it over 6 times in the championship game. So you just never know what can happen.

Sounds as if Boyle maybe has an advantage from a talent standpoint, and the recent tournament success is quite impressive. Although we haven't played GS in a few years because we are in different classes, what I can tell you is GS will bring a lot of fans and the team will compete until the final whistle regardless of the score.
