  1. Kirschner Resigns from BD

Would be interested in hearing why BD is a unique job in your opinion. Size of school/team?
  2. NIC Coaches. Where are we?

Keith is a great educator and coach. Very good guy and deserving. Andy is also, though I have not had the pleasure of working w him as much as Keith in our (KV) times at Option Camp.
  3. Best Chances for 2018 Title

I know it is well over 20 years, but we made the title game in 93 and faced BHSS. Portage made it in 94 facing Castle. Valpo made it in 01 and lsot to BD. It can happen. I wonder why the region big schools haven't consistently competed at the state level. For example....when I coached at CP in 11, we traveled to play Penn. Played them pretty close. Believe we lost 20-3. Penn goes to state and gets blown out by Carmel (if memory serves).
  4. Best Chances for 2018 Title

I know good man. I LOVE my blue and white, but they just are not there yet.
  5. Best Chances for 2018 Title

  6. Best Chances for 2018 Title

Oh how I hope and pray your 6A is correct. Lol. That is my alma mater.
  7. yeah when we came there in 11 for regionals, it was pathetic that we had to use a hallway like that. hadnt seen it that bad since my alma mater lake central (pre reno)
  8. Hamilton Heights Open?

One more caveat...most deans are on a teacher type contract which allows them to coach.
  9. Hamilton Heights Open?

    Is he related to Mike?
  10. Colby* new Maconaquah Coach

I sent you a DM yesterday. Did you receive this?
  11. Colby* new Maconaquah Coach

Do they have a MACK TRUCK at QB too? :) Really enjoyed watching him play......I liked #6 too. IMHO, I thought he was the best player on the field in state.
  12. Colby* new Maconaquah Coach

AHHHHHHH. Almost like a vacation :) ALMOST! What a great opportunity to coach w your son. How cool. You and Bart at WCHS. Wonder if there are more coached out there that get this AWESOME experience? Does any of the Radtke boys still coach w Russ?
  13. Flooding at Elkhart Central/Rice Field

ah, the benefit of cst here....lol. we were only blinded for roughly a 1/2. wonderful planning :)
  14. Flooding at Elkhart Central/Rice Field

So your home stands face west too huh? Thought KV was about the only school that planned that.
  15. North Davies...

So true. Youth programs and school programs need to work together with the understanding what is the END GAME...... For some it is youth For some it is ms For some it is hs For some it is college For few it is professional. The youth program around me needs to understand this much better. They run it like the end all, be all is pop warner. Many kids do not even make it to play hs bc they are burned out from pop warner.....over practicing, watching film at the local library, yelling and screaming at the youth, doing combines, etc. The coaches (at least the ones running the board) are conveying w their actions that pop warner is more important to them, the coaches, and the select few of the most "talented" kids. They really are a running joke around the Demotte/Wheatfield area and are DIRECTLY effecting the amount of players that play at the high school. Many of the "uppers" in pop warner have terrible attitudes, and that trickles down to some of the players. This then continues if the kids play hs ball. When I coached at KV, we tried to reach out to work WITH the pop warner and they said no but they would be willing to help us. I had to chuckle at that one, especially after I spoke to one of the coaches on how to block a simple ISO play out of pro-I vs. a 4-4 defense (I used the technique names instead of DE or T). He didn't know what a 3 or a 6 were. But hey sure pal, we will take your advice.
  16. New Opening at Fountain Central?

Thanks pal. I couldn’t quite remember the schools etc. might be a real good job. Possible ad and HFB coach link.
  17. Competitive Drills

From chatting w you numerous times, I knew you’d be doing it correctly like you said. Even how you said above the REALLY SAD thing is some communities still would feel like their kid is getting “picked on”.
  18. Competitive Drills

Good ole fashioned tug o war. Love this. I imagine some communities would not like little Susie or jimmy gettting “called out” by their peers, which is sad!
  19. New Opening at Fountain Central?

Could you remind me please, Who was the previous AD at FC? Thank you.
  20. Very well stated Coach.
  21. Warren Central

    Oregon Davis? 2007 maybe.
  22. Fort Wayne North Dallas/Fort Worth South
  23. By the sound of things, maybe more pressure in the North Fort than the South Fort.
