  1. The field is in great shape it would take a monsoon to make it sloppy.
  2. You should see it when they rent out the ice rink and play hockey in Ft. Wayne. No pads not even for the goalie!
  3. Amish College is the term most often used I believe.
  4. Due to contractual obligations (with my son) I can only say that I am am wishing the Panthers good luck Friday and safe travels. There are two places to eat at in Monroe. One is the gas station Country Corner Deli ( which is not terrible actually) and the other is the Monroe Drive-Thru & Dining, (260) 692-6187 11:00AM - 7:00PM 134 E Jackson St Other than that grabs something on your way. Looks to be a great night for HS football!!!!

  6. 1A Season Thread

I'm breaking radio silence for a post or two. It's my son's senior year and I promised to chill on the board this season! So I'm in lurker mode most of the time. (Don't want to accidentally grind my axe) I will say I do remember all to well a dark and rainy night in 1997 at the Pit. It was truly the pits back then, something that was the general shape of a football field with a bit of grass here and there, terrible, terrible lighting, and a puny visitor stand. You could hardly see the the ball that night in the dark against the black uni's and It was the first time I had seen the real "Wing T" run! Two very quick young men in Pugh and Odom. For the 2016 edition of this game I think the Panthers will find the Airstrip in excellent shape, good lighting and a beautiful grass field second to none. It's not much consolation for us but I do think we match up better against Pioneer rather than LCC. Our pass defense has been suspect at times but our line play on both sides of the ball run wise has been excellent. The Jets have shown great team chemistry all season and should be extremely proud of all they have accomplished this season no matter the outcome Friday. With only 1 or 2 games left in his HS career I know I couldn't be prouder of the way my son has lead on and off the field,. He has given me some awesome memories and I know he will leave it all on the field this Friday! (#22) Here's a fun little clip that got caught on camera earlier in the year against South Adams.

We were pretty beat up from the week before. The regional game against West Central was one of the the hardest hitting games I've ever seen.

Great as always Pride but off on one small detail we defeated Attica and Josh Smith for our one and only state title to date.
  9. * Sectional Final Scores *

Holy cow keep the updates coming husky. Monroe Central six Adam central zero at halftime
  10. This was the format my first year on the forum which was 1999. Also for the where are they now files...... Carnes, Knight's Father, Tackle me Elmo.
  11. OMG best laugh Iv'e had on here in a long, long time!!!!
  12. Week 3 Game Changed?

They looked pretty good on film, solid 2A team. One different thing about them is they onside kick every time, scored 60 against Frankton so they did it A LOT. Ought to be a good game for us.
