  1. TH South-Bosse

Great game. Braves win 83-81 in Ot. Minnett had 40. Bosse has a good team. Good win for South after playing last night and missing a couple regulars
  2. I don't want to take anything away from linton. I love watching them play. Just down and dirty. Last night reminds me of that old quote, "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." Not that Linton isn't talented
  3. I could see a foul being called if one of them had possession of the ball, but I was in the balcony right in front of the play and the both were trying to catch it
  4. Obviously why I don't pick games. Lol. Although i I thought TH South was on the short end of every close call South is missing something this year. I don't know if it's chemistry or what. They also have to buy in defensively. I saw several times they basically let a guy go around them and score because they want to go play offense so bad
  5. TH South is the clear cut favorite. They struggled early with a new coach, new system, and integrating some new players. They seem to have figured it out the last 2 games blowing out Columbus North at Columbus and they beat a powerhouse team out of Milwaukee today without Minnett.
  6. MAXPREPS FAB 5

I thought Terre Haute South would have been ranked in top 10 with Minnett, Washington, and Brown returning. They also get sophomore Kenyon Sholty this year after he missed all of last year with a torn acl. South did beat North Central in the regional
  7. I mainly follow Terre Haute North football. They are 13-15 against CI teams so far since joining. They're 8-3 against Bl. North, P.M., and Franklin Central. Are you wanting to kick those teams out? North is also 15-5 against CI teams in baseball since joining. South is probably going to be the favorites for the basketball championship this year as well. I can understand the travel but everyone knew that going in.
  8. Cathedral vs. Terre Haute North

Yes, numbers were down this year. They usually have 100-115 in the program. I don't know why they were down. I don't know about other teams but THN did not dress any freshman this year.
  9. Cathedral vs. Terre Haute North

Well, it was a great season for North. They had some chances tonight to make it interesting but Cathedral is Cathedral. North may take a step back next year, but I really feel this is only the beginning for North.
  10. Cathedral vs. Terre Haute North

No! Lol. Although I think 3 of them were THS and several were Carmel when they were down there in the late 90's early 2000's. Cathedral was actually 0-1 against THN during that time
  11. Cathedral vs. Terre Haute North

What does it matter what THN did last year in the MIC? Cathedral is 9-14(counting games against THS and THN, not Pike and LC) since 1994 against MIC teams including 0-1 against THN. Does that have any bearing tonight? No.
  12. Cathedral vs. Terre Haute North

They almost beat Center Grove last year. Lost 17-15. Also I think tied or down 7-0 at half against Carmel so they were competitive in almost all games last year. The Terre Haute teams are getting better. South had a bad year but they have a lot of talent coming and North is pretty solid every year now.
  13. Cathedral vs. Terre Haute North

I have no idea if it will be a good game or not, but Terre Haute North has one advantage over other 5A teams. They know what to expect from a Cathedral type team and will not be intimidated. Most of these seniors played 2-3 years in the MIC. This is the fastest, most fundamentally sound team I can remember at North. Hoping for a Patriot upset.
  14. TH North-Bl. North

Absolutely. The MIC was a blessing in disguise for North and South. It caused them to build a program. The youth league is much better than it used to be. I really don't think this is a one year deal for North. They lose a lot next year, but had a good JV team and South was pretty young. South has some real good athletes coming. 7th/8th grade
  15. Any thoughts on this one? THN has handled them twice(one was scrimmage) but that all means nothing now. It's kind of a weird feeling that some kids are going to miss the beginning of basketball practice here at THN!
