  1. Marian Football rumors

I'm assuming from that icon you are tired of Marian beating St. Joe in Football

  9. This is his first year as an o lineman, correct?
  10. Did he make all state at all when he played defense? I'm not impressed with him as an Offensive Lineman, way too soft, but if your 6'7" you can be any team's project!
  11. Keeper or those ridiculous swing passes where your other receiver misses his block
  12. Who actually calls the plays? Makes you wonder why Cory hasn't won a state championship
  13. Good, but very frustrating game. Things that stood out the most from Penn is that their OLine needs to be consistent, play calling was suspect and predictable at times, secondary still a major weak link, offense needs to use vakahalli (sp?) more. After OLSM misses the FG, you'd think the Penn offense would go uptempo, 2-min urgency, but instead wasted lots of valuable time. Two to three swing passes is fine, but damn, Penn did way too many and didn't utilize vertical passing game more till it had to. When it did, the OLine had a tough time to give Cam enough time to find the open guy. That scoring drive before the half was great, because they mixed it up well behind vakahalli and the great slants to Voorde. In the second half, I don't recall vakahalli getting a carry until real late. The kid is a beast, use him Cory! Don't get me wrong, Cam is great, but you need another back to get the tough yards, especially at that crucial fourth down play. Clock management was horrible, but I'm not going to beat a dead horse with this staff. The front seven played well, especially 91, 35, and 51. Oh well, Penn needs to have a short memory and look towards winning another Conference championship and make that long November to remember stretch!
