  1. Agreed, should be packed house next Friday. I’m leaning towards points coming in bunches. Two conferences champions duke it out for bragging rights. Interesting and fun. IB
  2. From what I saw Pike Central is heading in the right direction. Limiting opponents possession time, body language looked better too.
  3. 3 and 1 with one OT win. Agree with you on talent comment. 6 and 1 in SIAC is not accomplished without studs. But,again, both will need to advance to even have a chance to see each other.
  4. No excuses needed. I lived in huntingburg before moving here. There is a ton of community pride there. Southridge will be ready come Friday night. I believe we will as well.
  5. Kinda agree. Very disappointing loss for the Raiders at our place last year. Emotions will run high Friday night.
  6. Yes, we lost 2 key players in this game last year.
  7. The atmosphere that night was amazing. I didn't enjoy watching the Raider players leaving the field that night, I know it meant a lot to them. I felt like they never really bounced back after that game.
  8. Good job coach Peebles, played with him in college. It's been a few years.
  9. I agree, kicker popped ball up in the air. We normally kick this way to about the opponents 30 or so. I think he shanked it a little.
  10. Again, as I stated in the beginning, this game will be closer than predicted by most. IMO. The big play , if it happens, will be what GS needs to stop. I think the question of conferences on this thread is this: Would you rather win 15 conference championships in 20 years and a state title or 2, or would you rather win a couple conference championships and 5 state titles in 20 years? It's all hypothetical, steel sharpens steel is the theory. The last thought is why I'm glad we travel to the jungle tonight. Good luck to both squads.
  11. Just had to..... didn't you
  12. No expert here. We normally average 30 kids per grade. It allows us to have 4 tackle teams in 2 age divisions. We spread flag kids over 6 teams with the idea of kids staying on the field for an entire game.
  13. Thanks , not an argument at this point, Clayton did an amazing job
