  1. HNAC Week 9

I completely agree football is a team sport and the goal should be for team recognition not recognition of the individuals...if recognition comes to individuals while helping achieve team success/goals then it is just the cherry on top. Who isn't allowed to hang banners for sectionals? First I have ever heard of that.
  2. did any kind of resolution on the situation come out of last nights executive meeting?
  3. If I understand the history correctly it was also then a Michigan assistant who took the design with him to Delaware correct?
  4. NLC 2017

    North East Corner Conference
  5. why is mowing the lawn a "need?" justify this frivolous exercise please
  6. NLC 2017

    so will Plymouth http://am1050.com/2017/turf-project-for-football-field-at-phs-scheduled-for-this-summer/
  7. Possible IPS closures

that is extremely frustrating I'm sure....one would think there would be a set time period for the take over and then another chance for the local school corp to get it right.
  8. Possible IPS closures

Is there any kind of a time table on when IPS will get full control of these schools back? Or is it some kind of measurement that has to be passed before they are handed back?
  9. What about instead of doing a total count of students in the schools only counting the number of students who turn in completed physicals. These are the only number of students who actually intend to participate in athletics so therefore they should be the only ones who count towards the IHSAA classifications. Schools that struggle because of socioeconomic factors tend to have that issues because although they may have a school of say 600-700 they actual percentage of those students would probably be a lot less than a school with better socioeconomic circumstances. No need to count sectional points AD's already have to keep on file all of the physicals turned into them so it wouldn't take any extra time to get the count completed.
  10. can name 18 to you sectional(and beyond) roster...can only dress 12 for any one game in the tournament
  11. WKVI reports Craig Barr was hired with a 4-3 school board vote
  12. HNAC All-Conference

I know we had some minor "beef" a few weeks back in regards to who you were predicting who would be named All-Conference, but I believe that you just gave a very fair assessment here. Overall I just think too many kids period (all schools are a little over represented) have been named to the team and honorable mention. I hope that the changes that have been made for moving forward have streamlined it a little bit.
  13. HNAC 2017

if North Miami and South Central would both want to join I'd be all for the HNAC going to 10 and doing a North and South Division Split in Football....if North Miami is the only school wanting to get in right now (seems to be the way it is) then I think the HNAC would be better off sticking with 8
  14. NLC 2016

haven't heard a lot from that Plymouth Glenn Game other than Glenn had two free throws in regulation (up 2 to ice it) failed to convert and plymouth scored to send it in to overtime...
  15. I thought WC92 had said that it was take the 192 top teams according to the formula and then split them up by enrollment? I could have misunderstood him but I thought he said enrollment does matter just not until you find out who qualified first.
