  1. Kirk Kennedy Retires

Can someone refresh my memory, why did he leave Lowell?
  2. Markese Stepp

This was supposedly known for a while that he would not be part of Notre Dame class. From what I’ve gathered Stepp loves Notre Dame but there’s some academic hurdles that won’t allow him to go to south bend. Not sure exactly what the issue is. Too bad because everything I’ve read he’s a great kid and was kind of a lead recruit for the Irish class of 18. Wish him the best, hopefully in West Lafayette!
  3. "Big" HS football players....

Watched West Lafayette play earlier this season, not sure the measurables but their offensive line and running back all look the part, gigantic
  4. penn vs Crown Point

Believe these teams still scrimmage each other. CP RB Gomez is a beast, but I'm sure the Penn defense will find a way to contain him and make someone else beat them. I think it will be a slug fest in the first half but Penn will eventually wear down the CP defense and win by at least 2 scores.
  5. Region Pick'em Sectional round 2

  6. Penn at Valparaiso

Valpo defense has been pretty stout this season as well, maybe not as dominant as the wild bunch defense but I wouldn't think they're giving up a lot of points either. I just think Penn finds a way to win, very hard to beat them (or anyone for that matter) twice in the same season but we'll find out Friday night!
  7. NIC Teams 2nd Round Games

Congrats to Penn safety Paul Moala on his commitment to Notre Dame. At one point valpo was playing their 3rd qb, think penn will win the rematch. Lot of even/entertaining matchups this week.
  8. NIC TEAMS 1st Round Sectional

I remember hearing when I was in school that SB Clay was the most northern school in the state, but that might have been around the area
  9. Region Pick'em Week 9

  10. Region Pick'em Week 8

  11. Region Pick'em Week 7

  12. Region Pick'em Week 6

  13. Week # 6 in the N.I.C.

Cavemen freshman 1-3, play Marian tomorrow night
  14. Week # 6 in the N.I.C.

I agree rocket (yea!).... does anyone know if new prairie is scheduled to play penn or Mishawaka in the next few years? Think that would benefit them come playoff time. Washington/John Glenn could be most competitive game of the week? Marian, Concord, Mishawaka, Penn, Adams, New Prairie all win by at least 10, some way more imo. How are the NIC freshmen teams doing?
