    Although this senior class was small, Marian will be losing most of their skill position talent, as well as a couple of their defensive playmakers. I wouldn't use pen in putting Marian as the North representative next year.

    What a great game. Looked like Marian took a few series to understand the speed of Chatard, as the Knights have not played anyone of the caliber of Chatard this season. But Marian certainly made it a fantastic finish. The second half was just battling back and forth, but the Knights just couldn't get ahead. Proud of the effort our boys gave - heartbreaking finish for the Knights.

    Yes, they will be doing the broadcast live on IHSAAtv.org and then on tape delay on TV46 at 11pm. Chuck and Bob do a great job.

    Knights have not had any challenges in the tournament so far, with running clocks in each of their sectional games. Don't know what to expect from Calumet - Harrell predicts just a touchdown difference. Will be interesting to see how Marian handles their third game in a row on the road.

    Concord just announced they have canceled tonight's game due to COVID related issues. SB Adams advances. Just heartbreaking for the players - especially seniors.

    Coach Barron was released from the hospital yesterday!

    Mishawaka Marian cancelled its game with Elkhart Friday.

    According to the Marian website, the Marian @ Elkhart game is cancelled tomorrow night. Per Marian, "There are currently zero Covid-19 cases on our football team, but due to contact tracing, there are a number of players that have had to be quarantined." Such a shame.

    His son posted on Twitter today: Coach Barron "was checked into the ER today with double pneumonia. He's in good spirits. Battling an ass-kicking disease, but in good spirits..." Prayers up to John.

    Did you watch the game against Marian? If the Knights didn't give them the ball again and again with five turnovers, it wouldn't have been that close. That ship is not in great shape...

    Maddix Bogunia is definitely a stud, and Malcolm Anderson is a really strong RB.

    I agree - I wouldn't either. As Lysander says, Marian lost quite a bit to graduation - especially on the defensive side. The Knights return a lot of talent at the skill positions on O, but will have a very green group on the other side of the ball.

    Congrats Chatard 45-0. Knights hung for a quarter but it was obvious they didn't have the horses to hang with the Trojans. Good luck next week.

    Both had leg injuries - I haven't heard the exact diagnoses.
