  1. As a player & coach I’ve been on both sides. Yup, it REALLY stinks to lose by 60. HOWEVER, the only thing I can think of that would be worse, would be having to stand there and watch the other team take a knee for a quarter or the majority of the second half. What could be worse that that? Lifting all winter, sweating your (you know what) off all summer, practing all week, just to have the game cut short because of a “run rule”. You know who does enjoy that time? The young kids who don’t ever get to play on Fridays. The seniors that have put in work for four years, but just simply aren’t good enough to routinely play. The kid that rarely gets to play, he walks off the field with a smile on his face. At least for that moment, he could careless what the score is. This goes for kids on both sides.
  2. I've been been wrong plenty of times. Just giving you s***! Lol
  3. GridIron Digest Poll 2017

Not 100% sure exactly what I need to do, but sign me up for 5A & 6A.
  4. 2016 5A Football

Louisville Male (Jefferson County Public Schools) is the third winningest football program in the United States and the winningest program in Kentucky. Had to play them... Best team I've ever played.
  5. SIAC week 3

So the Reitz D (gave up 13 to THS) is going to be the difference against Castle, but North's D (gave up 7 to THS) will get beat by 4 TD's? Now you may just be right, but I think we'll really know something about everyone after this week.
  6. Hoosier Conference 2016 REGULAR SEASON

I like a good laugh... What's the joke?
  7. SIAC 2016

How many of Reitz RB's have came from Bosse's district? Vaughn? Easters? Was Higgins always on the west side of Evanville?
  8. Southwestern Indiana Top 10 -- Week 2

I agree and I guess that's my point. The SIAC is full of bigger public and private schools. That's why it would be unrealistic for the entire PAC to be able to consistently compete. That doesn't mean certain schools couldn't. Anyways, as long as southwestern Indiana is well represented, that's all that matters.
  9. Southwestern Indiana Top 10 -- Week 2

Bosse lost everyone! They were bumped to 4A and their coach left and everyone left. Their starting running back is at Central, Starting QB at Harrison. The coach didn't get hired till late. Just look at the overall record between the two. I thought Pike may beat them this year. Hopefully that new coach can get some players out and get them heading in the right direction.
  10. Southwestern Indiana Top 10 -- Week 2

Bottom tier teams beating bottom tier teams, yes the SIAC is better. As bad as Bosse is this year, THEY BEAT Pike Central. They did regularly in sectionals. I'd be willing to bet they'd beat Forest Park. so that we are clear, my argument is heads up, the SIAC is better. Does that mean your better teams couldn't compete with our better teams? Of course not. If you are arguing "quality" of football or whatever. Maybe that is better in the PAC.... I don't know. But let's dream that there's was a PAC/SIAC challenge, where 1-8 play each other according to last year's conference standings. Who do you think wins more games?
  11. Southwestern Indiana Top 10 -- Week 2

Finally someone that speaks the truth! Top to bottom the SIAC is better. I say would IN GENERAL that the top falls in the SIAC's favor because of Reitz (I don't enjoy saying that). I only say that because it seems that they typically pull out those battles against Jasper in the sectional (I don't have the all-time record against each other, I'm sure one of you do). That being said, every time they do meet in sectionals, you know Jasper has a good chance to walk away with a win. As I'm sure GS and HH would now. ...... I didn't mean to exclude MD or Castle from the top of the SIAC, obviously they are at the top as well.
  12. SIAC week 3

  13. I'm not 100% sure how many they had back, but I thought it was more than 3, but the digest would probably know better than me. 30 was back and he's a good athlete. This year's QB isn't Herrin, but certainly has talent, and he'll only get better as the season goes on. This year's game was closer than the score indicated. North just made a few crucial mistakes and didn't finish drives, which you can expect from a young team in their first game. THS will be solid this year, but I don't believe they'll be near as good as their team last year.
  14. yes, essentially the game starts THS 20.5 Reitz 0. After watching THS last week, I like THS with the spread (to be clear I like Reitz outright). However, it's a total different story if Reitz can get penetration. It's something that North struggled with. The few times North did get pressure the young THS QB struggled.
