  1. Evans Brothers Leave Central

“Maners added that Johnell Evans accepted a job in the Princeton school corporation and will be an assistant on his coaching staff. The two worked together at Central when Evans helped with defensive backs.” That information was in the article, therefore it doesn’t really count as through the grapevine. Grow up and stop being bitter.
  2. I usually just keep scrolling, but this one made my brain hurt. Really? What about Bill Cowher (34), John Gruden (34), Mike Tomlin (34), Don Shula (33), John Madden (32), Not a bad start by Sean McVay (30). I’ll wait to see what great explanation you come up for this one.
  3. Central vs East Central

That’s what I was hinting at. Now the Evans brothers are transferring there (supposedly).
  4. Central vs East Central

Where did Princeton’s coach come from, again?
  5. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2749081-whats-acceptable-high-school-coaches-ask-after-new-jersey-colleagues-ouster I read this article and thought of this thread. Not sure I 100% agree with everything, but found it interesting.
  6. In that scenario with current enrollments I believe Jeff is one. And Columbus North. Once again that would be with current numbers.
  7. It is an impressive schedule. However you listed 6 teams, they lost to 5 of them. Is it really that impressive? Obviously Cathedral has an outstanding program (one of the best in the state), but I’m not going to pat them on the back for scheduling tough teams and losing.
  8. Snider vs Carmel Regional Championship

The punt was around the 1:05:00 mark if you’d like to take a look.
  9. Snider vs Carmel Regional Championship

This is more a question, rather than bashing the crew. There was play where Snider was given a pentalty for roughing the kicker after Carmel’s punter dropped the ball, then regained possession and attempted to punt the ball. At what point does he become a runner?
  10. Bishop Chatard at Danville

There is a WHOLE lot of crow being eaten tonight! Congrats to Coach Woods!
  11. Regional scores

Unfortunately can’t make any games or won’t even be near a computer to watch one. Please keep those scores coming in!
  12. Popular opinion or not, I was sure happy to see the results of the Penn/ Valpo game. Having family in Valpo I generally hope well for them, but I don’t want to see inmates rewarded for running the asylum.
  13. I agree with a lot of what you said. Anytime a coach mentions that their team is just soft, I think to myself “And that’s your fault!”. However there’s a difference in a coach using that lame excuse and what Coach Robichaux said in the video. “How far can we go to get a tough culture without being reprimanded from soft people”. You're right, every generation thinks they worked harder, and had it tougher than the one following them. Of course a lot of that is BS. However, I do know if I would have walked into my principal’s office and complained about my Head Coach’s policies (to be honest, anything other than maybe physical contact), I would have been laughed out of his office. While there are still some great administrators out there, that has began to change in society. It’s just easier for Administration to cut ties with a “minion”, than to take ridicule from parents or the community. To be clear im not just the old man yelling “Get off my lawn”. I believe I classify as a Millennial.
  14. As a player & coach I’ve been on both sides. Yup, it REALLY stinks to lose by 60. HOWEVER, the only thing I can think of that would be worse, would be having to stand there and watch the other team take a knee for a quarter or the majority of the second half. What could be worse that that? Lifting all winter, sweating your (you know what) off all summer, practing all week, just to have the game cut short because of a “run rule”. You know who does enjoy that time? The young kids who don’t ever get to play on Fridays. The seniors that have put in work for four years, but just simply aren’t good enough to routinely play. The kid that rarely gets to play, he walks off the field with a smile on his face. At least for that moment, he could careless what the score is. This goes for kids on both sides.
  15. I've been been wrong plenty of times. Just giving you s***! Lol
