Does anyone know who Phalen Leadership Academy is?
  5. Rugby

I agree. I know most of the hs rugby coaches around the state...either played with them or against them. It's a great way for them to stay or get in shape. Its kind of special to see a kid that never gets to touch or run the ball in football, actually pick the ball up in a rugby game and lower the shoulder.
  6. Rugby

    Huge fan!
  7. Wood Memorial

So is it too early to call dibs on their equipment? We were there 2 years ago for a junior high game and they have some very nice practice equipment.
  8. Wood Memorial

Wow! Was surprised Coach Archer took the job last year. This might be the reason he decided to back out a few months later.
  9. I was just asking because of the numbers mentioned about Memorial's freshmen. I just wasn't aware of any SIAC school that hadn't fielded a frosh squad in a while. Especially after a state championship season. Memorial could very well bump up a class due to the success factor after this season. That could be a little rough in the coming years with those numbers in the current frosh and soph classes.
  10. So no freshman team?
  11. Wow! Henderson County better start having closed practices....lol. Just kidding!
  12. For Memorial to take them...they would have to transfer to Henderson County first then come across the bridge. I think that's how that usually works!
  13. With all the QB talk, who is Lindauer’s back up?
  14. Yes! Even with this guy coaching the Tigers!
  15. The Princeton over GS part.
  16. I'll take that bet ALL day!
  17. Just to clarify....Princeton isn't in the PAC. They are in the Big 8. The Evans boys will be Jasper, Vincennes, Boonville, Mt. Vernon, Washington, & Mt. Carmel's problem. LOL!
  18. I think #2 from last year is still at wideout (like he was last year) and should play a huge role this year. I may be a little biased but the back up to the freshman the last few years (that will now be the freshman quarterback)… Is pretty good in his own right. I guess the question now is who will be the JV QB.
  19. Not your average incoming freshman...he's probably pushing 6'5" and can throw it.
  20. I don't know how good NP will be but I guarantee they unveil a formation or play no one has seen before during the season....lol I bet Coach Schenk was awesome in sandlot football games growing up!
  21. Indy?? The talk was Decatur Central
  22. Naw....Princeton?? Lol. They did for the 2008-2009 basketball state champs. A couple of them are actually serving time right now.
  23. I'll bet you the Evans' boys don't play a down for Princeton next year.
  24. I've heard Dline and Oline are the concerns for Memorial this year. And maybe replacing a FB..lol.
