  1. That was a great game by 2 great teams. East would've easily rolled New Prairie as we did. It was a pleasure watching both teams. Highest regard for the high consistent high level of play from the East program. My kid was the senior RB for New Pal on that team, only time I've seen him smile coming off the field of any game ever. Lol. I think there's a realistic shot of a title game matchup this year. Good luck to East this year, here's hoping we meet at Lucas Oil!!
  2. East will be great I'm sure. New Pal will be significantly better than the last 2 years. I think legit contenders. We will find out early as they have significantly stepped up the non conference schedule by replacing Whiteland and Richmond with Kokomo and Center Grove. And we get to christen a new turf field which looks amazing!! Go Dragons!!
  3. A great coach can quickly turn a program around. Look what Kyle Ralph has done at New Pal. This will help the conference tremendously!!
  4. You build a consistently strong program by starting the younger players if at least equal in talent.
  5. If you think there was anything unsportsmanlike tonight you obviously don't understand this game or sportsmanship in general. You feel for the New Prairie kids on a night like this but I'm quite sure they would expect the opponent to keep playing, after all they did. What should New Pal do, take a knee 3 times and punt? Only scored once in the 4th.
  6. This is not elementary school people. New Pal could've scored 100. Lots of back ups played the whole 4th quarter. You want your seniors to enjoy the moment. Besides New Prairie played hard to the end. Should you put over matched freshmen in and let New Prairie score?
  7. New Pal scored a lot on defense and special teams. Plus defense and special teams provided good field position. That being said, New Pal is very dynamic on offense and throws and runs the ball extremely well.
  8. New Prairie looks solid on film, though I don't think they are balanced enough on offense to move the ball consistently against a very stout New Pal defense that held Markell Jones to 10 yards per carry below his average. I think the New Pal offense is too balanced and will be too much for New Prairie to handle. I think New Pal wins fairly comfortably 42-14.
  9. This is the game everyone wanted. Both great teams. New Pal much better than last year. Should be a great game. Dragons need to start fast and try and make East have to throw and limit Markell ' s touches.
  10. Do some research. What you are inferring is nothing but rumor. I have lived in NP for 12 years and heard the same thing. Then I actually did some research and there is nothing to support that rumor. Not saying its 100% false but unless you have facts to support don't be part of the gossip and rumor chain please. Besides this is a football forum, its supposed to be about FOOTBALL, lets have some friendly trash talk and discuss the games, that is way more fun.
  11. Should be a fun game. NP is significantly better than last years team. Very dynamic on offense and if you can't throw the ball well you can't move the ball on them. NP 47-14
