  1. Prayers being sent to everyone in the Triton community.
  2. Two years, two back-to-back Indiana teams winning NAIA National Championships. I like to think that's a testament to the hard work of every one of you coaches out there on this board.
  3. Osceola Home Schhol

Their Coach, Ty Biller, is a friend. Great guy and a class act.
  4. NIC Sectional Championships: 2010: Mishawaka, St. Joseph 2011: Penn, St. Joseph, Washington 2012: Mishawaka, Mishawaka Marian 2013: Penn, Mishawaka 2014: Penn, Elkhart Central 2015: Penn, Mishawaka, Mishawaka Marian, St. Joseph, Bremen
  5. Will definitely be keeping this young man (and the Brownsburg community) in our thoughts and prayers.
  6. East and West fields

A bunch of the NIC schools have East-West fields. Marian, St. Joseph, School Field (though it is SLIGHTLY slanted), Jackson Field, Clay Field, New Prairie... I definitely get my money's worth out of those prescription sunglasses I bought.
  7. Who is John Harrell?

On several occasions, I have tried to look up high school football information from the states of Illinois, Michigan... Even the football-crazed state of Texas. It took me a considerable amount of time to find any one source that had a fraction of the info that Harrell has on his, and he does it for multiple sports. In short, John Harrell is the GOAT.
  8. When we are heading into our Week 9 regular season game and 4 teams still have a shot at the division championship... Hard to look back on this season and be anything but excited to see what the future has in store for the conference!
  9. Mishawaka Marian - Bob Otolski Field. A bit about Bob Otolski: He was a member of SB Washington's 1953 State Champion team, and later was the AD and first ever head football coach at Marian. He compiled a 59-10-1 record between '66 and '72, before leaving to join Lee Corso's staff at IU from '73 to '80. He later served as the head football coach for the Illinois State Redbirds from '81-'87.
  10. Good luck to all of the NIC teams playing tonight. It would be great to have all 5 of us still practicing next week!
  11. Without a doubt, one of the hardest parts of our jobs as teachers/coaches is seeing young lives end far too early and then seeing the pain that it causes the community. I know it isn't much, but please know that both of your communities are in our thoughts and prayers.
  12. I speak from personal experience when I say that the Bremen JV/C-team squad is extremely talented.
  13. NLC 2015

Absolutely gutted for his brothers on the team. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
  14. And banter like this is exactly why we all love having the GID during the off-season.
