  1. Sectionals are out

Westfield not unhappy..... We love and accept the challenge. It will be an adjustment, but Iron sharpens Iron!
  2. Hudl Sideline

This has made coaching and in game adjustments sooooooo much easier. No longer do you get misinformation or are you guessing at times what is going on. We use it a ton. Sometimes we use it with the whole group, and at times we use it with only one player. We love it.
  3. Franklin Central To Join the HCC

When the Lafayette schools left, there was an attempt by the MIC to combine the two conferences and the HCC schools declined.
  4. Franklin Central To Join the HCC

Yes..... We lost Lafayette Harrison, McCutcheon and Harrison a couple of years ago. We used to have 10. I hope we never go back to 10 though.
  5. Franklin Central To Join the HCC

  6. IFCA Clinic

Tom Allen of Indiana was awesome and received a standing ovation. Congrats Tom.. Big things might be brewing in Bloomington over the next couple of seasons!
  7. Franklin Central To Join the HCC

Welcome to the HCC Franklin Central! Competition starts in the 18-19 season.
  8. IMHO playing multiple sports regardless of what they are creates better football players. Studies show, especially among youth kids that the more sports they play, aides in their overall athletic development and tends to lesson mental burnout. I love for my guys to play multiple sports. I don't think it is a fair statement to say that playing another sport will necessarily make you better at football. I do think that there are things that can carry over however. I think each kid would benefit from playing a sport in which they have to compete as an individual, because it teaches them valuable lessons that they don't necessarily get in a team sport. The athletes have to not only learn to compete against there opponent, but they have to learn to master their own minds.
  9. Westfield Kicker/Punter Will Harrison has been offered a full ride to Rice University in Houston to be their kicker after a Nation Wide Search. Congrats Will! Bad News for Western Michigan Soccer.
  10. I think this job is a diamond in the rough.
  11. Robinson offered by Minnesota today.
  12. Robinson has numerous offers: Wisconsin, Indiana, Purdue, Northwestern, Boston College, Wake Forest, Illinois and a number of MAC schools. I might be missing a couple.
  13. Eastern accepts HHC invite

Hate to see you Leave the MIC Comets....... The Old school guys were members of the MIC and Ruled it, while my generation was in the TRC and was fairly successful. BOth very good football conferences. Is football worse now, simply because soccer is a sport there? I can't beleive the communist are taking over my boy hood home. The boys of Eastern Howard County used to take some pride in being a little tougher then the rest of the county ( at least we thought we were). Now sadly if this rumor of soccer dominance is true, God's country has been taken over by communist and tenderonies. A school that once had the state's longest winning streak at 36 under Twyman Patterson and stood up to everyone under Willard Rice is now become a soft haven for soccer playing commies? Call in The National Guard, Call in The HIcks Brothers and the Howe's and the Nesbits or Wingers. Call in the Hill's and the Hainlens. Where are the Granson's, Mathews, Kingseed's and the Marners? Step up old God's of EHS football lore and stop this communist intrusion. All kidding aside, Good Luck in your new Conference Comets!
