  1. I concur.....but a mother would be horrific regardless if it is 18 kids on the field or 80.... a broken arm is a broken arm. The risk of injury is inherently known....
  2. * Week Seven Scores *

Heritage Hills scored 7 in Q1 Southridge scored 7 in Q2. Halftime 7-7
  3. PAC 2017

Good game GS. We have taken a lot of Players that normally would play JV but moved them to varsity.... so I felt some of the younger guys played well last night.
  4. Game kicks off at 6:30 cst per coach
  5. Oh my ... this will be interesting!
  6. The HH O line and D line were tweaked for this game somewhat... what you saw was our very first game of trying to play our lineman for the most part on one side of the ball so what you saw were some first time starters on both sides of the line for HH in regards to GS line... yes they are very good!
  7. GS played very good. Good win... forced HH into 4 turnovers... can't be competitive with the turnovers... can't get yards or pts if a team turns it over... we will get the mental mistakes fixed and hopefully we get one of most dynamic offensive WR and special teams returner back next week. Missed the game tonight due to ankle tweaked in practice Wednesday. Sorely missed his hands and speed... may not have changed the end effect of this game but he is a game changer with his athleticism . Thinking ahead to sectionals and how Memorial ripped Reitz... would love to see GS and Memorial play... that will be a ball game!
  8. Better eat prior to getting to the Jungle...not much to offer local unless you go to Mariah Hill and eat at the Chateau.
  9. This game will be whatever Linton wants it to be.... it can be a complete thrashing or Linton can make it a respectable 42-7. Otherwise I think the spread can be 60+
  10. In the South, Lincolns rise. Playing some good FB right now. I'd put GS, Mem, and Lincoln as the favorites heading towards playoffs (mid season progress). If the sectional were today either of these 3 could knock each out... all three very good and all three could win a regional and maybe a semi state !
  11. IMO, Coach Clayton is the all-time greatest coach in the PAC based on field results and players he helped to the next level(s). However if you look at what Coach Hart has done in his short tenure compared to Claytons long tenure, Coach Hart will get there... and quickly. I think Hart is the brightest young coach in the State if not the Midwest. BUT we must also consider the staffs of both.... they wouldn't have experienced their successes without their staffs. Although I love to take shots at some of the GS fans on the GID... their team and program as a whole....I have tremendous respect for... GS has developed into a first class program... their fans lived in misery for so many years.... they are so deserving of their current and future successes because they have and are working to achieve it!
  12. I got the info from the Homestead site... looks like it only goes back 30 years... sorry... but instead of 22-5 I'll take the 30-9 HH tilt. GS has swung the series their way over the last few seasons but I don't they will ever match Claytons run. Gibson Southern (5-0) at Heritage Hills (3-2) GAME TIME: 7 pm CT, Patriot Field. COACHES: Nick Hart, 61-8 in 6th year at Gibson Southern. Todd Wilkerson, 37-22 in 6th year at Heritage Hills. SAGARIN RATINGS: Gibson Southern, 81.33, 29th overall, 4th in Class 3A. Heritage Hills, 50.25, 139th overall, 23rd in Class 3A. LAST OUTING: Gibson Southern defeated Princeton, 58-12. Heritage Hills lost to North Posey, 37-23. VS. COMMON FOES: Gibson Southern 1-0; Heritage Hills 0-1. OPPONENTS' RECORDS: Gibson Southern 8-12, Heritage Hills 11-14. SERIES LAST 30 YEARS: Heritage Hills, 22-5. LAST MEETING: Gibson Southern, 38-10, Sep. 23, 2016. PREDICTION: Gibson Southern, 45-21.
  13. As long as it isn't the short white 1970's permed head sideline ref from North Posey...both teams ought to be okay. He has been one of the worst I have ever seen.....I dread seeing him officiate any HS game...some of his calls - non calls are atrocious and I am not talking one sided...
  14. 49-14... is that under estimating? Gosh I hope we can keep it that close!
  15. My condolences and prayers for this young mans family, team, school, and community.
