  1. Wabash River Conference Week 6

Yes at the end of the game NV still lost no changing that. But when you get unnecessary calls called on you and at the start of the game you have Attica re kick the ball because the refs can't decide who came up with the onside kick... you know how this game would turn out. Yes I get it NV didnt come to play that's that's for sure but when the team gets stupid calls called on them. Seen so many blown calls for Attica... blocks to the back no calls ,chop blocking on the line no calls, holding no calls, false starts no call. at one point the line judge called a penalty on Attica and the ref gave it to NV now how's that work? Chaulk up another loss for NV I'm sure Crabtree will have them working hard in the weeks to come.
  2. Wabash River Conference Week 6

NV-Attica game was Atticas from the start not going to get into it but when all calls are for the home team you don't really have a chance. Attica came out to play and so did the refs
  3. Wabash River Conference Week 6

IA over covington 38-14 NV over Attica 42-14 RP over TR 32-7 Turkey Run don't have much luck this week FC over Seeger 48-6 No contest there
  4. Wabash River Conference Week 5

Wouldn't have thought that would have happened And TR over Rockville they are parting in the camp grounds tonight!!!
  5. Wabash River Conference Week 5

I ate my words!! Congratulations FC on the win NV 53 TO 12 Final
  6. Wabash River Conference Week 5

    29-6 NV at half
  7. Wabash River Conference Week 5

    22-0 NV end of first
  8. Wabash River Conference Week 5

This will be the last year these two schools meet up..as they are consolidating the schools next year. I don't know how many game these two teams have played but I'm sure Rockville has came out on top 90% of the time. I would like to see Turkey Run win this one just because they are always a underdog in every game they play. Almost like the bad news bears!!!
  9. Wabash River Conference Week 5

Yes I think they are inflated just a bit but all of the stats are inflated just a bit on all teams. We will see how this turns out I may be eating my words..
  10. Wabash River Conference Week 5

Covington over Seeger 42-6 covington pull away early and dont look back NV over Riverton let's say 58-14. NV rolls over them after a bad loss last week to a great Linton team. Turkey Run over Rockville 28-7 Looks like Rockville lost some starting players and being the last game between the 2 TR deserves the win Sullivan takes another away from a very improved South Vermillion 42-14 And I would say the game of the week it will be Attica over the Mustangs in a close one 35-21 Atticas stats just look more impressive. I will say one thing about NV game last Friday. The game was close till half the Linton broke away and didn't look back. NV had a hell of a first half against Linton.
  11. We welcome Linton and their fans to Cayuga .....Good luck and health to both teams tonight. Can't wait till I'm off work tonight and to watch game!! I will be running all scenarios in my head today in anticipation for tonight's game. There will be a lot of electricity in the air for sure. Pack them cars full Linton and let's pack this field full of fans. Love seeing only standing room around the field. Oh and by the way if you want to make it to game in time don't stop at the Burger King in Cayuga unless you get here a hour early... they are slow as heck!!
  12. Like I've said before I look forward to this meeting as well as the Miners fans . Sportsmanship and respect on both sides of the ball by both teams. Lots of talent on both teams both teams are young. The Miners have faced better teams then NV has so far and I give credit to the young Linton team for playing the way they have in the last 3 games with heart and dedication. I've watched film on them and when it comes down to the brass tacks them boys don't give up. I can say the same about My Falcons.... never giving up. I sure wish NV would start with a tougher schedule. When I played back in 92 all NV looked forward to is being WRC champs and didn't look more beyond that.. Why is That? Because we never thought that we could compete in the state tournament being a small school. We had a he'll of a coach with Mark Bless at the helm but as kids your mentality only hose as far as the team's mentality. Knowing now what NV accomplished in 14 and Linton did in 15,16 that would give any player today the motivation that a small school can compete in the big show at Lucas oil
  13. Don't know if it's official but they are saying they moved game time back a half he to 7:30 instead of 7
  14. Don't know if it's official but they are saying they moved game time back a half he to 7:30 instead of 7
  15. Always look forward to this game!!! Both team's play hard and coaching staff as well. We may see North Vermillion dig deep in the playbook a couple time but it's going to be a hard fraught game for sure. NV is still improving and ironing things out as well as Linton. I'm a NV fan and want to say NV Will win by a large margin but we all know it's Will be a close fraught game and a very enjoyable one at that!! 2 classy teams fighting it out under the lights!! When you can have 2 teams come together in the middle of the field after the game and mingle with each other and have prayer that is what I would call brother hood between 2 schools... much respect for both Crabtree and Oliver and their coaching staffs. I will not predict a score... The only thing I will say is win or loose they are both top notch!!
