  1. AP Poll Week 5

Neddenreip needs to venture outside of the MIC. You never know, Kyle may find an additional school or two to "talk up." Anyway, no big deal that we disagree and I will certainly tell Coach Gilbert that you said hello!
  2. Westfield (4-0) at Hamilton Southeastern (1-3) Westfield or HSE? Yes, I'm biased being a Westfield fan. I believe Westfield will win this game, but probably in the fashion the Shamrocks have done their last three games...by coming from behind. If the Shamrocks could only play four consistent quarters! Though the Shamrocks keep finding ways to win. Anyway, it should be a fun game to watch.
  3. AP Poll Week 5

Neddenreip, the official football team spokesman for Ben Davis.
  4. Drop in football participation

Participation in our entire football program in Westfield from youth flag football all the way up to our high school team has never been stronger.
  5. It was great to win the state title in light of the lack of respect paid to Westfield by the media. All we heard about all year was New Palestine and how did that work out? Blowing out 2A and 3A cupcakes doesn't necessarily make a great team. Westfield perhaps plays the most difficult schedule for a 5A school in the state. 6 our of Westfield's 9 regular season games are against 6A schools. Also, Westfield's two losses this year came by one point a-piece and against 6A schools. Westfield should have been favored against CE and they proved it by bringing home the state title.
  6. Westfield also left two passing TDs on the field on overthrows and a running TD that was called back on a holding penalty. Though it was the Westfield defense and kicker that was the difference in the game, as in many of Westfield's win this year.
