I agree that Warren is likely the favorite. I am curious to see how BD will fare under a new coach. I am excited to see how much Carson Steele has improved this offseason for CG. If he got any better, everyone should be terrified.
  2. Lawrence Central Filled

I think its more likely to become a Big 5 than one getting the boot.
  3. I realize he has a bunch of offers, but does he start over Jayden George?
  4. Do you have any idea if the hire is expected from inside the school or are they looking externally
  5. I think it could be a possibility. Also wouldn't be shocked to see him in Bloomington.
  6. I figured College or IMG.
  7. Markese Stepp

They need to redo the divisions somehow. Its not going to be fun having Wisconsin in the Big Ten title every year.
  8. LC job opening

If I remember correctly, a name a lot of people threw around a lot during the previous opening was Emil Ekiyor (Sr.). I am not sure anything about him except for his son and that he coached at Tech, but now that Emil Jr. is done at Cathedral I could see that being a possibility. I would also guess they'd go after some of the smaller schools hot candidates like Kyle Ralph and Nick Hart. No matter what though, I hope that is a great hire.
  9. Peebles to Cathedral

Sounds like you expected him to stay forever.
  10. Peebles to Cathedral

I don’t know coach Peebles, but knowing his history with Cathedral it wouldn’t surprise me if this was a dream job. No one wants to lose a great coach, but no one stays in a job forever. Give the guy a break.
  11. Coach Peebles told the team today at LC that he was accepting the job as Cathedral Head Football coach. This was the hire I was expecting, and I dont see the Irish missing a step. Its unfortunate for LC as Peebles was starting to get it going up there. I do think that the job is the top job open. It will be interesting to see what happens there. https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/high-school/2017/12/04/cathedral-hires-bill-peebles-football-coach/918999001/
  12. Its easier said than done. Coach Streiff couldn't get anything going, who says that O'Shea can do much better. I hope he does for the sake of the MIC and I think he's a great coach, but its impossible to speculate on what athletes are even going to play at these schools.
  13. I think that it'd definitely help attendance if they went back to 123 on the same day then 456 on the next. I get the idea behind the current format, but I'd be more interested in attending all day during 456 than I am in going to 246 (Assuming CG isn't playing)
  14. 2. 1 down year and the teams are no longer powerhouses? If BD has a down year next year due to loss of seniors are they going to consider leaving the MIC as well? 6. I dont think that there could be a better option than LOS. Sure it stinks seeing it so empty, but its the most central location and warm. What do you think are some good alternatives?
  15. MIC 2018

No doubt! He has made LC relevant again and had Southport at the highest level he could get them. He's definitely one of the best in the game, I meant no disrespect to him.
