  1. http://www.dailyjournal.net/2018/06/16/center_grove_getting_new_signs_screens/ A good and necessary upgrade over the previous one. That small screen wasn't a great investment in my opinion. The new screen is said to be 5 times the size. Also adding a message board on the North side of the stadium. Will make the new stadium look even better.
  2. New Field for New Pal

It was pretty apparent last season as well.
  3. I dont think thats a fair comparison. He got put in a bad situation with Trevor Lawrence, who is looking like his is going to be the next top NFL prospect we have seen in a while.
  4. New Field for New Pal

New Pal has earned their shot to play a big team like CG. I wouldn't be so fast as to put this as an automatic W in the CG column. Still a lot of inexperience incoming this season.
  5. I believe it was until 2012, but I am happy the change was made. Save some bodies for the playoffs.
  6. So.......??

    Resolved today. No punishment.
  7. Nate Wozniak from CG also signed with the New Orleans Saints as an Undrafted Free Agent.
  8. I think a lot of people will agree with me when we say that we are more worried about Coach Moore and his family more than the football teams status a few years down the road. They don't deserve this. WTHR didn't help either by posting a smear article, talking only negatively about him. Credit to them for posting another with supporters, but that should have been included to begin with.
  9. The claim is about choosing to not participate in team (High School) workouts, not the youth program, and instead working with a private trainer.
  10. Patriots just drafter Danny Etling, who attended Terre Haute South.
  11. I see what you're saying, but I know for a fact that if Coach Moore knew of any financial issues, he wouldn't charge that family. It is not like he requires people to pay to be in his presence. Go to the CG Bantam Fields on any Saturday during the season and you'll likely see him walking around watching games.
  12. I haven't known anyone involved in the program in a few years, but I know a few things. I don't see why it is Coach Moore's duty as a PE teacher at the high school to teach elementary kids fundamentals that are going to help them. I know that a few years ago, Center Grove's Strength and Conditioning coach also was involved and helped kids learn techniques using a wooden bar as well as light kettlebells. I am assuming the money made goes back into the program, for example to buy conditioning equipment such as cones, hurdles, sleds, etc. Most of the middle school kids who play football do not participate because they are usually involved in more than one sport. I genuinely don't see the issue with what is going on. I think the school would have shut it down right away if there was one. Guess I just am not looking at it the same way you are.
  13. I dont see the issue with it. It is for kids (2nd-8th grade) that do not participate in spring or winter sports to attend and is coached by players on the high school team. Its a great program.
  14. I agree with this 100%. If everything comes out the way I expect it to, which is with Coach Moore being innocent, then this article has still done harm to his reputation. Hate to see this happen to such a great man.
