  1. Vincennes Lincoln

    Good call!
  2. Vincennes Lincoln

Point out where I was asked to name anybody, because I ain't seeing it. Anyway I can hardly think of the names of kids on last years Loogootee team let alone a team from Montgomery years ago. However, I will try...... A Hawkins kid from Shoals, Roy kid from who knows where, O'niell(who was six foot in the fifth grade and dad played college football, so I am sure people knew he would have athletic talent.) Bowman from Loogootee(that will get ya'll going), and the Graber kid who came from Washington last season. That is all I can think of at the moment sounds like a lot to me.............Also nice job on throwing out a kids personal situation about his parents I would frown on that if I was a mod.
  3. Vincennes Lincoln

Pretty sure almost everyone considers a kid who leaves one school and goes to another a "move in."
  4. Vincennes Lincoln

O'niell is a pretty significant move in......
  5. Vincennes Lincoln

Only names I heard that turned them down are Gene Miller and Dave Benter of Brownstown Central. I would be curious to hear the other two names. I don't think the Barr-Reeve job would be ideal, most of the good teams they have had in the last 8 years had a move in, I can't see kids running to play for Thompson like they did Hughes. Also I feel like Hughes could keep the fan base in check I think it will be a lunatics running the asylum situation now. Never follow a great coach!
  6. Vincennes Lincoln

Steve Brett is the new Lincoln coach on interim basis.
  7. Bryan Hughes

It's a well known fact he's friends with the AD, principal, and school board president. I assume that's how he got the job.
  8. Bryan Hughes

Well it looks like it's Josh Thompson from Vincennes former Wood Memorial coach. I don't think it's a good hire but we will see...
  9. Bryan Hughes

So who replaces him? Hard act to follow, whoever it is will probably not live up to the expectations.
  10. Bryan Hughes

Cheating on your wife doesn't get you fired.
  11. Bryan Hughes

Being forced into retirement is kind of a big deal. Why would a school employee be forced to retire? School trying to protect itself is what it sounds like to me.
  12. Bryan Hughes

This could get ugly if the things I am hearing are true.
  13. Bryan Hughes

According to Barr-Reeve's Facebook and Twitter Coach Hughes resigned as of yesterday. https://twitter.com/BR_Schools

I've been a supporter of Coach Chezem and I've thought he was one of the better coaches in the area. However, reason 1, 2, and 4 have made my support dwindle along with the being told he has absolutely nothing to do with the lower grades doesn't run camps/clinics for the little kids. I don't think he personally is in it for the long haul.

Loogootee wanted to play keep away in the fourth quarter up 12 and Loogootee isn't very good at it. If I remember correctly I believe Loogootee had five turnovers that lead to a score in a row. Had a one and one down two with 1.0 on the clock missed the backend.
