  1. sectional 42

Carroll, LCC, Sheridan, Monroe Central, and Adams Central all could be tough competition and it only takes one off game to derail a season.
  2. sectional 42

North Miami (193) @ S. Newton (321)- North Miami 38-6 Tri County (168) @ LCC (163)- Interesting matchup with the Cavs offense taking off all season and the staff changes at CC. LCC 41-34 Pioneer (31) @ Carroll (127)- Great matchup this week and the most balanced and explosive offense the Panthers will have faced this season. Filbrun has a great arm and is more than capable of making plays with his legs. In the end I think Pioneer is too much for the Cougars. Pioneer 42- 0 Frontier (283) @ North White (308)- Frontier 47- 12
  3. Unless you go to 1A Pioneer, where the shirts were deemed to expensive to be payed for by the school.
  4. HNAC Week 9

Adams Central's field was by far the nicest high school field the Panthers played on last year, and that was in week 14! Kudos to the crew and administration up there for setting the bar high for small schools across the state.
  5. What about the commitments the winning teams have made? What about the off season, weight room and practice hours they put in? The teams with the blow out wins need to show restraint at some point, I completely agree. However, how is it fair to a team that has committed to be as successful as they are to only play half a game and then you have jv kids get short changed in their game due to lack of quarters. Sometimes it is on the losing team and staff to play a better game.
  6. HNAC Week 9

Culver over Laville- Cav defense too much for the Lancers Knox over Caston- Knox has too much depth for the Comets to keep up. Pioneer over Judson- Panthers sweep conference for the 3rd year in a row and look to stay healthy heading into sectionals Triton over Winamac- This will be a close game but I think the Trojans sneak out a win over the surging Warriors.
  7. HNAC Week8

Winamac keeps rolling against Caston Laville wins the battle of no offenses over Judson Pioneer over Culver Triton sneaks in a win against Knox
  8. 3A 6-0 Knox at 1A 6-0 Pioneer

    Rushing # Athlete Name Car Yds Avg Lng TD Team Totals 60 272 4.5 31 4 15 Addai Lewellen (Fr) 1 -2 -2.0 0 20 Austin Mersch (Sr) 2 3 1.5 4 24 D. I thought the ref crew was poor overall for both teams.
  9. HNAC Week 7

Culver over Caston Neither team has much depth but Culver's defense keeps the Comets out of the game. Pioneer big win over Knox Pioneer will be amped up for the battle of the unbeatens. Knox tries to control the clock but the quick strike Panthers will be too much. LaVille beats JG Laville rebounds from last week's defeat by Knox Triton big over Judson Triton's offense too much for Judson Winamac over West Central Winamac not very good... West Central even worse
  10. Any word on game time yet?
  11. HNAC Week 6

Caston at North Miami- North Miami 26 Caston 12- North Miami to much for the shorthanded Comets Culver at Winamac- Culver 12 Winamac 6- Culver defense has played pretty well most of the year. Not sure Winamac's offense has the horses to beat them. Knox at LaVille- Knox 32 LaVille 15- Knox gives up a couple scores looking on to the showdown with the Panthers next week. North Judson at West Central- North Judson 24 West Central 6- Judson wakes up after last week's meltdown Triton at Pioneer- Pioneer 47 Triton 0- Great aerial test for the Panthers before they get to some excellent passing attacks in sectionals with potential matchups with Carroll and LCC
  12. Prayers from Pioneer. Sorry for your community's loss.
  13. HNAC Week 5

North white pioneer should not happen this Friday, but unfortunately it is. Pioneer had an opening after west central left the conference and for some reason north white was scheduled instead of some potentially good matchups with other teams that had openings this week. Hopefully this isn't a long term contract. It would be nice if we could get a Rensselaer, lcc or a Sheridan somewhere on the regular schedule.
  14. HNAC Week 4

Friday, Sep. 8 Bremen at Triton, 7 pm Culver at West Central, 7 pm North Judson at Knox‡, 8 pm Pioneer at Caston‡, 7 pm Winamac at LaVille‡, 7:30 pm Triton Culver Knox Pioneer Laville
