  1. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

Nope. Nothing against coach Cooley. He's a good guy. I was stating a statistic.
  2. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

Floyd-NA. It wasn't as competitive as I thought it would be. It's a matter of coaching. For comparison, Glesing took a bad Clarksville program to a 10-2 season in his 2nd season. Cooley won 16 games in 6 seasons at Clarksville. NA has some talented skill players, but Floyd looked so much better fundamentally and discipline wise. I don't believe they punted once. It was a great win and it's always nice to win the Rusty Anchor trophy. I also have to say, I'm just beyond impressed with Coach Glesing this season. To go through what he had to go through and still coach his team a to 7-2(6-1) season takes a heck of a lot courage. I was at the Floyd/BNL game and that was the difference in the game. Floyd's defense was just a little bit better. BNL has trouble stopping the run. Their offense is pretty good though.
  3. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

I told you guys about Mccall Ray. He's the best QB in the conference if you ask me.
  4. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

Floyd Central is playing some really good football.
  5. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

BNL is on the same level as FC and NA. All of those teams are a long way away from even making East sweat.
  6. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

I still think that BNL is as good, if not better than Floyd. At least this season. I argued last year that we had the 2nd best team even though Seymour finished in 2nd. Really, their is a lot of parity with BNL, Floyd, NA. Those 3 could play each other 10 times and you'd see a lot of close games going any way.
  7. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

Yeah, I believe those are the scenarios. We only have 1 loss in HHC.
  8. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

Floyd and NA could be a game where neither team punts. Floyd is probably a little better than NA on defense though. We'll see. East will win big. McCall Ray is good for a TD or two in that game. That kid really won me over last week.
  9. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

You're right. I didn't see the game but I saw a video of it.
  10. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

The final score was 28-6. BNL didn't score 12. It was never close. I think BNL will be really good next year. But after that, it's hard to say.
  11. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

I believe that BNL will have a very good Senior class next year. Going forward though, I know Floyd blew out their JV and Freshman teams. The Freshman game was like 40-0. We lose a lot more than BNL does but it's going to be a reloading situation. JV and Freshman RBs are studs too. Getting back to BNL, I believe that Mccall Ray will be the best QB in the HHC next year. Really like that kid.
  12. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

You're probably right, but their O-line looked the best I've seen them all season the other night. Of course that doesn't mean anything outside that game.
  13. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

We almost beat Castle last year and they were a lot better than they are now.
  14. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

That's even worse. Correction. We get a 1st rd bye. Assuming we can beat NA to face CE, I think it will be a better game than last time. Floyd will play better at home. Floyd went back to their ground and pound and Jason Cundiff ran really well. I'm interested to see how we do against NA though. Floyd or NA would win Sectional 16.
  15. Hoosier Hills Conference 2017

So FC has to play at NA, 2 weeks in a row? That is freaking rediculous.
