  1. Thanks for the tip, but again I don't have that kind of compulsion.
  2. Unlike most here I don't compulsively refresh the forums dozens of times a day, looking for new topics and replies. That said may I inquire as to the funding source(s) for such a lavish upgrade?
  3. It's Happening!

  4. And give Frankfort a big fat raspberry. Not that the Hot Dogs could be competitive in that conference, but it would reduce travel times/expense.
  5. https://www.jconline.com/story/sports/high-school/2018/06/02/state-record-setting-pole-vaulter-colton-crum-frankfort-indiana/666482002/ Go Hot Dogs.
  6. 1998 according to this Wikipedia entry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoosier_Hills_Conference But it very well may be out of date.
  7. I remember reading this story a couple months ago about Madison and it's troubling suicide & drug addictions problem: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/08/sports/opioids-suicide.html
  8. Yeah, I fail to see the connection between Purdue's recent football "success" and how it somehow carries over to Tippecanoe County school's football programs.
  9. Actually there shouldn't be government school sponsored athletic teams, it should all be a private club model. But that is for another discussion. And I didn't realize that Madison is in the Hoosier Hills Conference. Too bad for the Cubs, they are obviously over matched. Charming little city though.

  11. But that class system is still 99% based on enrollment, which is a horrible was to classify athletic programs. The success of p/p schools over the decades has shown that. Promotion and relegation is the common sense way to implement a class based system for high school athletics.
  12. Sagamore Conference 2018

Impressive. But hasn't the Athenian baseball team won two state titles over the last decade or so?
  13. Sagamore Conference 2018

Meh, Crawfordsville is a baseball school. Much like Frankfort is a basketball school. Tackle Football will always play second or even third fiddle in these communities. Heck, FHS may see almost as many players going out for soccer as they do for football this fall.
  14. Because Flag. Military. Patriotism. Nationalism. Any appearance of not fully supporting any of these concept is enough to bet you labeled as "un-American".
