  1. Hoosier Conference Pick 'Em

1 Point Games Pioneer @ Lewis Cass Tipton @ Madison Grant Northwestern @ Eastern Hancock 2 Point Games Delphi @ Benton Central Mount Vernon @ Hamilton Heights Rensselaer @ Kankakee Valley Tri-West @ Lafayette Central Catholic Western @ Twin Lakes Tri-County @ Carroll Triton @ South Central 3 Point Games Lafayette Jeff @ West Lafayette
  2. KJ came in the game against LCC his sophomore year I believe? From then I could tell he had amazing arm talent and now he's even better. Definitely will be the best QB in the Hoosier Conference this year.
  3. Hagerstown could make a run in the South
  4. There's a lot of excitement with Coach Nay coming in at LCC. Hard to tell how successful they will be at this point. QB will be a big question mark this year, although Dulin is the favorite for that spot. Interested to see how he does, he was 15-24 for 169 yards with 0 TD's and 2 INT's in his one start last year. Schwartz was a monster last year and was on the Junior All-State team. I expect him to be even better this year. Daniel Roach also has some great talent receiving and will be the #2 target this year. Dienhart and Schrader return 640 yards rushing. The O-Line returns 4 players that have started. Defensively you return another Junior All-State player in Kennedy. The D-Line also brings back Jacob Rogers who had 71 tackles. Dienhart will return as MLB and Onken will be back as a safety. Big spot that might be overlooked is the need for a kicker. CC has been spoiled the past 5 years with a good kicker but this year I'm not sure if there is one.
  5. Delphi returns a lot of their top players from last year. Should be in the top half of that conference.
  6. LCC has a new coach

They could've won every game besides Jeff, West Lafayette, and Pioneer. The Jeff game could've easily been 14-14 going into half, they just didn't convert on crucial opportunities and didn't throughout the year in different situations.
  7. Pioneer hands down the 1A state champ next year, nobody will come close. For 3A I would have to give WL a very good chance. Karlaftis of course will lead the defense but they have plenty of other studs that include Kidwell, Woodard, Ahsan, Szymanski, and the younger Karlaftis kid. On the offensive side they return all of their leading receivers and Hood. Kyle Adams will start at QB and I think he's better than Touloukian. This team might be better than last years and that's a scary thought.
  8. So far in the tournament these are the defensive numbers for Pioneer (not including North White) Carroll- 6 sacks 10 TFL's LCC- 4 sacks 6 TFL's LaVille- 3 sacks 10 TFL's Mersch has 4 sacks and 6 TFL's while Gregorich has 3 sacks and 4 TFL's... MC's O-Line will have their hands full with that Pioneer D, especially with those 2
  9. I don't see Pioneer in a game closer than 30 points in their next 17 games. As long as Kiser is at Pioneer they will roll big time.
