  1. Valparaiso Head Coach

Who's going to teach the Dragon Slayer class?
  2. Muda doesn't care about facts or reason. He's just here to troll.
  3. Just sharing my experience. I'm sure it differs for other people, places.
  4. 1. You can coach a kid very hard, while at the same time not name-calling, not using profanity, and not making personal attacks. 2. Kids haven't changed in the 20 years I've coached. Parents have changed.
  5. Earl Bruce

Early this morning, Earl Bruce passed away. He was a great man, and a great Buckeye. May he rest in peace.
  6. Noblesville hires new HC

Guys, can you please keep this going for the rest of the day? Also, is it ok to post pics of Michael Jackson since he ended up being white at the end of his life?
  7. Spring Football

Not sure if anyone else does this, but some of the Wabash River Conference Schools have Spring football for 5th-6th grade. It lasts for the month of April, and includes four round-robin controlled scrimmages in the last two weeks. It is a great benefit for high school coaches to be able to work with one of their younger age groups for a month.
  8. North Davies...

I like this move by North Daviess. From the outside it may look like a bit of a gamble, but I'm sure ND dotted every I and crossed every T. Giving a guy a chance to redeem himself should also build loyalty down the road when he has a chance to move on and move up. Why settle for less when you have the chance to get a guy who's had some success on a bigger stage? Good luck to ND and Coach Fine.
  9. Robert Harrison started the program at Hanover Central and did a nice job.
  10. Has Hell froze over?

To win football games, of course.
  11. Has Hell froze over?

You are 100% correct on the first statement, and it holds true for 1A - 6A. As for your second statement, it isn't just a football thing, it is an athletics in general thing. With the insanity that our state government has created for schools, there just isn't as much of an incentive for administrators to care about extra-curricular activities. Gotta get those test scores up!
  12. North Davies...

Within 30 miles of Fort Wayne
  13. LCC has a new coach

Sure, that works in theory, but what if I'm wearing a thong?
  14. North Davies...

Correct. Sounds like he'll be teaching PE.
  15. North Davies...

Did they ever come up with a teaching position for this job? If not, the hire will probably be local. Maybe assistant coaches from another area program?
  16. Content Removed by provider

My 3 year old daughter is obsessed with Fuller House! Kathy Ireland. Wait, was she 80s or early 90s? Either way, she sure could boot the pigskin.

Grave Digger or Big Foot. Which is the better monster truck?

How does everyone feel about Bill Belichick? Personally, I've become a fan of his over the years. I got to see him speak at a clinic last year and he is outstanding. What does everyone else think?
  19. Clinics

Not a Notre Dame fan, but I did attend the ND clinic Brian Kelly's first year. In addition to some good high school coaches and Notre Dame's coaching staff, I was able to see Chip Kelly and Urban Meyer speak. Also got to walk down the stairs, touch the sign, and walk out of the tunnel onto the field. It was a pretty good clinic.
  20. Exciting times in the Wabash River Conference! Welcome back Coach Moore! WRC has gained a couple of big time coaches in the last year with this plus South Vermillion hiring Barrett last Spring.
  21. WRC 2018

Is it too early to talk some WRC football and pizza? I'm curious about opinions on who has the best Pizza King in the WRC? Attica, Fountain Central, or Rockville? My personal ranking would go 1. Attica 2. Rockville 3. Fountain Central
  22. Rockville coach resigns

Less of this..... More like this......
