Jay Cutler to Fins ??

Recommended Posts

If the articles online are true sounds like Jay might be close to signing a 1 year contract with Miami and the job with Fox might be on hold. As a die-hard Heritage Hills fan who also loves the Dolphins  it would be great.

For some reason I have never had one favorite NFL team in MLB its Reds , Pacers in the NBA  but in the NFL I have always had 3 favorites Tampa Bay Bengals and Miami and by the first two its obvious I'm not a band wagon jumper.

I was  happy seeing Dilger in a Bucs  uniform and would be equally happy to see Jay in a Dolphin uniform.

Well its official Cutler is a Dolphin I'm extra pumped for the NFL season now.

I was sad to see him leave Chicago. Jay was one of my favorite QB's to play for Green Bay. :)

2015 with Adam Gase as his OC he had his best season with 3,659 passing yards, 21 touchdowns, 11 interceptions and a 64.4 completion percentage.   That said will be tough to miss almost all of training camp and win the job.

He has to beat out Matt Moore. Gase obviously would prefer Cutler be the starter. He'll be taking the snaps by week 2 of the regular season if not before.

And I'll go ahead and say that he will have a good season, especially compared to his years in Chicago. Probably not as good as 2015 but my guess is it will be pretty close.

It was already reported he (Cutler) wouldn't sign with the Dolphins unless he was named the starter.  With the ties to Gase, beating out Matt Moore isn't much of an issue.  I think it doesn't matter what type of season that Cutler will have.  He'll be the starter week 1.

Jay Cutler completed 24 of 33 passes for 230 yards,1 touchdown and no Interceptions . Plus led team on game winning drive and after missed Charger FG a 19-17 win. Cutler also had a Quarterback rating of 101.8.  did get sacked a couple of times and Fins had to settle for field goals  but overall solid debut.

Just one game but Gase playbook puts Jay in better position to succeed then other coaches and OCs he has played for while at Chicago.
Don't have Sunday ticket so followed on my app but based on ESPN highlights it looked like Miami had him rolling out more  and passing on run  which is what he did in his earlier days at Denver and had more success.

Just one start but solid debut especially for a QB that missed most of training camp.

Glennon who the Bears brought in to take Cuttys job was 31 of 45, 301 yards, 1 TD , 2 interceptions & QB rating of 76.3

SO SO GROSS

Why hasn't Tribisky gotten a chance?

Why put him out there with 3 starting lineman out injured and your "best" WR is Kendall flippin Wright.

Yea   NO THANKS

And I saw last week sometime, I really do not want John Fox led regime to be in charge of his development

So lets go 4-12, maybe 6-10 at best and fire Fox and hopefully get the next coach right.....
