Sheridan is always good. The reason is the big guy. Bud Wright. Prairie will be good. Frontier do not know. Taylor not sure. Eastern not sure. Tri-County and Tri-Central do not know. Clinton Central not sure. Who are the teams with new head coaches?

Tri-County, Frontier, and North White (previously a football only member) have left the conference to revive the Midwest Conference.  HHC now has 7 football members.  Carroll, Clinton Central, Clinton Prairie, Eastern, Sheridan, Taylor, and Tri-Central.

Clinton Central should always be considered a front runner.  They have the best uniforms.  And shoulder pads.

Bulldog Pride.

Don't know about Sheridan, until they change things. Hope I'm wrong

Saw Sheridan scrimmage Pioneer a few weeks ago. Sheridan will be extremely physical and a tough out come tournament time.

Curious to see how Tri-Central bounces back this season, having won just four games after 4 straight 10-win seasons. Only about 90 years of head coaching experience between TC and Sheridan...not too shabby.

From what I saw of the Sheridan vs Crawfordsville scrimmage, Sheridan seemed to have their way offensively and defensively.  I know it was only a scrimmage but Sheridan's physicality was obvious.

Update--I just read this in the Star.  I guess they really dominated that scrimmage.

In a home scrimmage on Friday, Sheridan dominated Class 3A Crawfordsville. The Blackhawks scored 10 touchdowns to Crawfordsville’s zero. At one point, Crawfordsville had run the ball 19 times for negative eight yards.

Sheridan is always good because of the legend "Bud Wright". Class act from what I have been told.

Webo 19  Sheridan 7

Tri Central 16  Delphi 14

Taylor 51 North White 6

Northwestern 40 Clinton Central 6

Eastern 31 Oak Hill 28

Prairie 60  Frontier 35

Carroll 40 Tri County 25

I still believe Sheridan will be a favorite for conference crown.  Taylor may be the surprise team this year .  Prairie and Carroll will put up points but will defense be there?  Tri Central with a good win

Week 2 Games.

CLINTON CENTRAL AT SHERIDAN = Sheridan Grandpa Bud Wright is just too good.

CLINTON PRAIRIE AT INDIANAPOLIS ARLINGTON = Arlington with a surprise win.

DELPHI AT CARROLL   BACON BOWL = Heard they have Pork Burgers at this game. I say Carroll wins.

EASTERN  AT  MADISON GRANT = Eastern wins with a great show.

TAYLOR AT TRI CENTRAL = This game could  be interesting. Tri-Central gets their 2nd win.

My bad.  I thought one of their better players had to sit this one for unsportsmanlike penalty  and thought it was qb.
