They favor the North and South Deanery schools. The West and East are fading. CYO wants to have schools combine in their Deanery, which I think is lead by two or three people. If that is the case, then let's make sure schools and kids stay in their Deanery or play for their schools.

St. Lawrence is north, which I understand that.

I heard there are two kids from St.  Malachy, that don't play for St. Michaels and go play for a North Deanery school.

If Holy Cross is an East Deanery school why are they combined with Notre Dame  Academy, which I heard is a South Deanery school now. Isn't that school/field at 38th and Emerson??? Still a bit fuzzy about that one.

Last one still puzzles me, a kid is playing at St. Louie, but goes to OL Grace. Doesn't Grace have a combine team with SMG? I thought you had to play for your school???  (Cadet)

Holy Cross is a Notre Dame ACE Academy.   Southside schools have combined too.  St Mark/St Roch/Holy Name play under South Central name.   St Rose/OLG/ Ss. Francis and Clare play under Johnson County Catholics.    I think CYO rules state you can play for a neighboring parish if a sport is not offered at your parish.
