Bremen has the talent to be sitting 3-0 this season.  For whatever reason they have not executed.  They face a revitalized Triton team in Bourbon that would love to run up and down the field on us.  This week is vital in correcting mistakes and making adjustments in scheme, play calling, and execution.  If Bremen loses this week,  folks are going to stop being so patient with the young coach.

Interested to see how Riley does against Marian.  Riley seems to have improved quite a bit over last year.

I think this will be a very close game. Riley is for real.

Brother Rice Wins, Elkhart battles tough. They seem like they could be a 5 win team this year.

Triton because they're at home and on a roll  although, never count out the Lions

jimtown because they're at home and they cant really be as bad as what it seems like

game of the week has to be Riley Vs Marian. Guessing it'll be determined by Riley's discipline particularly on the line. What is Riley's offense like? I see they've scored on the ground and in the air

and defensively can they rough up that young QB for Marian?

Penn wins

adams seems like a sad story... thought they'd turn into a program, but it looks like Antwon Jones just isn't a very good coach without his recruits.  Mishawaka in blowout style

Similarly, st joe takes out their frustration on clay

Sagarin has the Jimmies favored. I call this one a toss up. Jimtown has played a tougher schedule, Northwood is pretty awesome, Washington had several chances to beat them (wide open down the sideline and dropped in the closing minute...) and Angola is the real deal. I was impressed with the Hornets even if it looked like we went backwards preparation wise from the week before.

Jimtown is facing some real challenges this year. We have been sliding since 2013. Numbers are down. Coaching staff is turning over (retirements and what not over the past few years- lots of lost experience) and battling a case of youth. Very young team this year.  We need to be able to throw the ball. It seems pretty difficult to line up in the spread and be successful when you are completely one dimensional. We just don't seem to have matured in that part of the game yet. It can only get better.

Well I sure hope Bremen can control the clock and not turn the ball over... Gut check time for the Lions... For Pride, with Pride, Like a Pride...Lion Pride! I'm hoping to get my prediction record back to .500 on picking the Lions to win!

Central, Jimtown, Riley on the upset, Penn, Mishawaka, St. Joe

All of a sudden we think we're a pass first team with 3 guys that can carry the ball! Can't believe we are trying to immulatr Triton football.

Bremen is not very sharp, bad penalties, bad execution, bad secondary play.

Ditto for Triton!

Jimtown 14

Glenn 7

3rd

Glenn forces 3 and out breaks a 70 yard run and scores two plays later

New Prairie up 28-7 at the half. I'm pretty impressed with Washington, nothing has come easy so far and they play until the whistle

Mishawaka barely escapes a team they smoked last year. Adam's sophomore QB will play on Saturdays in a few years.
