Caston 28 Culver 20- Comets have speed.  Culver has slowed down since King quit on his team.

LaVille 35 Glenn 10- LaVille is finding their groove in a short season.  Hopefully pioneer and laville meet in the sectionals to make up for their missed game earlier this year.

Pioneer 30 Knox 18- Close game last year.  If it’s close early Knox D should be able to hang.  Knox feels like a powder keg though.  One good play from igniting this team in the right direction for the rest of the season.  One bad play or injury from unraveling entirely.

North Judson 36 Triton 7- Jays keep rolling.

Winamac 24 West Central 10-  Someone has to win.

Culver

LaVille

Pioneer

Judson

Winamac.

2nd week of new offense and new line. Winamac had 3 chances to tack on more points last week, twice were stunted by penalties and good D from Culver. The 3rd, they just let the clock run out..hope to see some more improvement. WC hasn't beat Winamac in football since regular season 2012 in football and 2009-2010 for basketball.

Does anyone know if the Knox / LaVille game was broadcast by either team and if the game is available out there somewhere?  I couldn't find it last night, but would like to watch it if possible.

I don't think Pioneer will have any trouble with Knox.  Won't be close.

I also think Triton hang with NJ for a while.

Caston- Much improved team from last year against a down Culver team.

LaVille- LaVille takes care of business again

Pioneer- I expect to see Knox more prepared and fired up to play this week than they were against LaVille. Should be a good one.

Judson- After watching Triton, I don't see them scoring on Judson

Winamac- West Central is not very good and Winamac should start settling into Coach H's scheme.

What say you?

Caston 36 - Culver 12, Glad to finally see some life over at Caston. They have some talented, young athletes on the team.

Laville 28 - Glenn 13, Big rivalry game for both teams. Nice to see the Lancers get in a groove last week and look for them to continue to shake things up with that offense.

Pioneer 35 - Knox 21, Close game throughout.. plan on the Panthers coming out on top in this one.

North Judson 42 - Triton 13, Look for NJs D to continue to play well.

Winamac 42 - WC 12, Not much to say.

I dont want this topic to go stale. But, I wanted to add this.

Kudos to Caston, it is the 2nd time I have had the pleasure to see them on film, they are playing very hard. I also must say, as a Coach, I have missed watching game film from the angle of the Caston Press Box, if you have ever watched film and try to break it down, they have the best angle and view always.

I concure.

Back in my middle school days the 2 fields i enjoyed playing on were Caston and Rensselaer (never had the chance to play on SN or Frontier)

Now, I am just saying, I have had some bad film from bad places. But, never from Caston. There is no track, so your right on top of the action.

I remember watching a sectional game from the grass there 15 years ago and the view was great.

Check the following link:

Not sure if it is still active, but if it is, the LaVille at Knox game may be there.

as always, the game is better

No faith in your team? Or is there some internal turmoil in Redskin

Still mad at the beatdown Knox put on at Glenn?  I mean it was close for 4 minutes.      I think defense will play much better than last week.   Will be a game where points are hard to come by.
