Don't forget there's one more game to play before the "annual game of the century!"  The Irish can't look past another Catholic school, because the Braves would just love to whip up on the Irish.  Don't want to sound like Lou Holtz, but you must take it one game at a time and presume that every opponent is dangerous.

GO IRISH!!!!!!!!

National rankings have Center Grove #14 and Irish #25 as of new poll released this morning.

Maxpreps has Irish #1 and Center Grove #2

Saragin has Center Grove #1 and Irish #2

Agree need to get by Braves on Friday then we can really start talking about the showdown on 16th!

Couple intriguing match-ups: Brebeuf WR Pettrie with quick good hands, not afraid of the middle of the field vs Zane Hill and Kolceski/Bronner of the Irish.

And the big one: highly touted Brebeuf D1 DE Strickland with great lower body and feet vs. future D1 OTs Owen Wood and Cooper Koers.

I’d say spread is -35.5 with lots of playing time for everyone. Go Irish. Stay healthy.

This game last year was COLD!  It was 67 degrees at 6PM and it was in the low 40's before the game was over and it rained hard!  The Irish sustained a terrible injury to Camden Jordan during the game.  I hope this game is injury free on both sides.

The Irish offense is fantastic, but boy has that defense really made strides each week. LB #5 Miller is very impressive and only a JR, you don't hear much about him but watching him on film likely gets opposing coaches attention. DB Hill has been racking up some INT's too. They look to be very quick on defense.

Was also super impressed with Brebeuf QB Drake Hagerman. He came out scorching hot out of the gates. Must have been 7 for 7 with an impressive first drive and TD to start the game. I believe that was the only 2nd game we trailed in at 7-3.

Cam Jordan’s absence was absorbed by a great game from David Perry and Michael Page. And up-and-coming sophomore Jaron Riggs is emerging with a nice TD last night.

PS. Cam Jordan has “Pro-Day” for the MLB Draft early Sat. Not exactly baseball “camp”. 😉
